But it works for the competitive modes on the regular server doesn't it?

I do see your point though but the problem remains that in the current format the top competitive mode is not recognisable or appealing to the majority of players because it has got 0 affinity to the game they play on a day to day basis a part from the name and the tanks being played.

Cobra 6

There is one problem which remains with 15v15, lan tournaments will be super expensive and hard to manage on a pro format.

Currently as a team attending something like The Final Battle, each team has up to 1 reserve/coach next to their main 7 players. Imagine having a total team of 15, including to this at least 2 reserves + manager in order to get everything up and running on offline events. For the online stage up to 5 reserve players. It's just expensive to add all of that, hotel costs, airplane tickets etc. I know that it matches the random gameplay, if it was that easy then we would have fixed it 4y ago :D

What is going on with WoT ESports? No news since January. Right now there is a feeling that they just cancelled all their events but didn't have any plan in place to replace their events.

Why don't you create something like football World Cup? Like a 10v10 ESL where countries can fight each other. And you can make it live so the players who aren't playing can watch and learn or something...

z0mg wheres my wgl fix.... Ineed something to watch, 2017 extended series was good for watching. going back in time the tools used were confusing and the commentators from older series are not great on the ears to listen to.

The nearest event which you will have a chance to watch will be the Clan Scuffle tournament we have teased in the Arms Race regulations article.

Obviously it is not the same thing as WGL but should provide a similar type of entertainment. You can expect first announcements coming out in the coming weeks!

Hello Voulezvous! :)

Super news for me and our team.

Information will be available here only?
Or will they be on the official WoT website? Are Nobbies Only in English? Or will the questions be translated into different languages, including Czech?

Thanks.
Have a nice day

Hey!

Here you will find the initial information on the event. It's very scarce for now, I know. I shall endeavour to post more information there by Friday the latest. You have to be a member of an active clan. Most of the places for this invite-based tournament are already taken.

If your clan decides you would like to participate, there will be a qualifying tournament for the remaining 4 palces.

Good luck!

It looks like it’s over (I hope it isn’t). No news about professional esport in WoT for more than 7 months, since January...

well ... no money ... no competition .... superunicums and supertesters , time to pay if you want super competitions ... because , it seems , that those regular players do not put that huge amounts of money in this game anymore

How can WoT be a serious esport with the amount of RNG it has?

"And here are your runners up after they had 2 shots bounce and a low roll".

I think that's it about history of e-sport in World of Tanks.

This post was written 1 YEAR ago and we have no news since that time. WG decided to quit the league and not to inform players about it in any official statement.

Sad...
