This tank is awesome, The gun is superb (not the derp gun) and it has great acceleration and speed and it can take some punishment this tank is the best in my collection infintely better than the M3 Stuart and the AMX-38 the Panzer II Luchs isn't fully upgraded yet, This tank has my record of most tanks destroyed which is 4

Srsly, I dont know what's going on here, but EVERY SINGLE TIME i play that tank, I wind up as the weakest one in battles reaching even tier 6 or 7!!! Furthermore, I shoot others from a faraway cover: most of the time no damage even done. When they fire at me, I go up in flames in a single shot. I really don't know about you, but in my opinion this tank sucks big time.

Don't platoon with tanks higher tier than you and you won't end up reaching tier 6 and 7...

I enjoyed very much T-46, but after 130 battles I began to feel a bit frustrated and decided to sell it. The cause of this frustration was the extremly weak armour of the vehicle, very, very thin, which put me in disadvantage againt tanks of my same tier.

However, this kind of "cadillac" tank gave me very fun moments.

The reason for the terrible matchmaking is the high amount of tier 5 tanks that people without premium tanks use to get credits.

Today I'v played a total of 5 battles and 3 times I'v been at the bottom of the list. But for now it doesn't matter as I just try to do my best to support those big boys out there! And when I get matched with the tanks same tier as I'm, it's just...

According to the MM chart, and personal experience, the T-46 cannot face tier 7 tanks.
Also, it used to be one of my favorite tanks, but the autoloader change ruined the automatic 37mm gun. It used to be a beast, now the awkward 5 round, 2 bursts system, with a 5 second reload time after that just doesn't work.
I miss the good old days of using it with 3 round bursts followed by a 2 second reload, and utterly dominating tier 3 matches.

You know, some months ago I started a thread moaning about "when the game would be fun again" mostly because I was set to grind through with the T-46 to get both the T-28 and the T-50. I went for the so-called derp gun, but quickly tired from the whole thing, and until two days ago I didn't play the game at ALL.
Back again in the T-46, and even with its bad armor and accuracy (with the derp gun at least), it has started to grow on me!
I had planned to sell it as soon as I had researched the T-50, but its hard to part from it now
My original plan was to use it as an assault tank in the urban maps, get close and derp them, but that only works on so many maps.
I recently had some success as a penetrator; going for the enemy's artillery, which landed me a record 4 kills (2 arty, 2 random encounters).

Ah yes, my point being?
Well, the T-46 is not as bad as many would have you think!

If you wanna snipe, use Gun 45 mm VT-42, accuracy 0.37.

0.37 is a DECENT accuracy.  0.50 is crap.

Actually when I was a newbie I  did not read what the spec numbers really meaned and thought the higher the number the greater the accuracy. And I was going the german line. Fail.

I,v had the T46 for 3 days now and luv it. Its fun too throw about and the punch of the 75mm is great. Just dont get hit cus they die really fast
