Someone please expain to me how this is fair? ok?

first battle today and thats what im hit with? im supposed to lead the whole battle? does the mm not care about the indiviudal skill of each player? it only takes into acount the tank, the tier and type.

This is pethetic, wg start working on an actual matchmaking and not some dark m

agic. we want a matchmaking that matches us with similar skill players, its no fun being wrecked by a pro and/or wrecking a noob.

I had a game yesterday where the other team had eight players with a wn8 of greater than 1000, while my team was the cast of Transformers. I also had a game where we slaughtered the enemy in three minutes, then a much more experienced platoon mate than myself said "You know what's next? A crushing defeat."

He correctly pointed out that at least a third of all players seem to be *edit with extremely high game counts ans extremely low WN8. (In fairness, a small percentage of these did have decent to good WN8.) It's all very strange and people are talking about it.

I guess MM is just something we have to learn to live with. Even if our teams fall apart and we lose every game, our stats will still improve if we continue doing damage and getting kills. After all, the more enemies left for us to kill, the more practice, eh?

Thousands upon thousands of games are played each day so why is this single game weird?

TDs seem to be roughly balanced on both sides, both teams have 2 top tier heavies and a bunch of lower tier mediums. I see nothing wrong with this matchmaking.

Also, WE don't want skill based matchmaking, YOU alone want it without giving any thought as to what it would do to random battles.

No, it doesn't.

Sooo... you played over 4000 matches and always were in the bad team? That would be unfair indeed.

Who is "we"? How many of the >100.000 active players did you ask about this? Seems that I missed your memo.

Maybe you should remove that mod until you learn howe to read statistics properly.

This game could easily have been won by you, if you actually thought about what you were doing instead of wanting to be in ateam that can carryyou.

There are at least 10 tanks on the enemy team which, without spamming premium, (and even then they'll struggle) you can completely outmatch, no matter how good the plaayer is behind the wheel.

While yes this stuff is quite common it is also quite sad because this is most likely gonna be a roflstomp. All the good players are on one team and that doesn't make for dynamic matches. However skill based mm will most likely not fix this kinda stuff.

NO, but only displaying the vehicle and no player/clan names would solve a lot of crying.

Unless you have the actual data, you have no way of verifying it is correct. *edit yourself, you really should change your tune.

MM is broken as hell, especially in weekends. Most games are pretty much pre decided, because WG can't figure out how to balance it.

Well you see the problem is, I have to balance my increasing WN8, WG rating, kill count, marks of excellence and fire for effects, with the fact that I have a life in the real world with a flesh and blood girlfriend, actual friends and a few hobbies. I do not enjoy the luxury of being able to sit in my mum's basement playing world of tanks for ten hours a day; in win rate terms, consider yourself lucky that you do.

What did you expect OP?

It is tier 5.

You know, the place where newbies are supposed to go.

Newbies, with you know low stats and not much skill.

Now, if it was tier 10, you may have had a fair whinge point, but even then a bit sort of meh.

MM fair, but crap.  Live with it.

Ahw cute. The typical 'I play like crapbecause I do other stuff too' excuse. You'll have to do better than that. This game doesn't take 10 Hours a day, 7 days a week, to do well in. Far from it. It's just that typical lame excuse from *edit like you as you lack any reasonable explanation as for why you're bad. And yet there's that misplaced arrogance snubbing players from other nations.

Why do I feel stupider every time I read your drivel?

Where have I said "I am crap and it's all your faults?" If I gave that impression, I apologise, this was not what I was trying to say. My point, which seems to have escaped you, is that I am doing the best I can as the person I am with the life I lead  but I am not good enough to carry a poor team yet, and maybe never will be, given that I cannot devote my whole life to a computer game.

It seems that players reaching high battle counts go one of two ways: one actively attempts to help others and are considerate of those who's just started out on their climb through the rankings. The other kind, such as you, are prats. Oh well, at least your stats are good.

Must be because it starts before you even read, then gets progressively worse as you write.

I will have to close this thread as we already have a pinned thread in which to discuss MM.
Please, avoid creating new thread for topics that are already under discussion somewhere else.

Have a nice day.
