This has to be a complete joke. I don't think anything has been as poorly balanced and released to live than this, even the pre-nerf T-22 was more balanced. It's got pre-nerf Grille 15 mobility and complete standard round proof armour. Yet it received even further armour buffs before going live. 330/340 HEAT is not going through it reliably, the 2nd lower plate is way too hard to hit and the super structure just needs any little bit of elevation to make it go from a chance to pen it never ever happening. Cupolas are also way too small. If you want a solidly armoured platform that forces you to aim at weakspots instead of just switching to gold then that's fine. The problem is that the weakspots are way too small and it's too mobile. You're forced to fight it. There's no running away because it will just keep even pace. The only way to engage this tank from distance is to track it and close the distance. No other tank in the entire game does this. I honestly believe this is the worst thing WG's ever released. It's a Pz II J at T10.

 

The worst part is that it's terrible to play too. The gun is horrible, and probably the "balancing" factor. But it's not good enough. It's like someone at WG decided that their Type 5 with HE skills was getting penned too much and decided that they wanted something to make the absolutely lowest part of the playerbase suddenly become even more relevant in the games they play. If you just play a long lane and keep your front at stuff then nobody can push you. It's impossible. Slap some support on it and this tank can just sit in the open for the entire game and the only chance you have of punishing the player for doing such stupid things is hope for good penrolls with gold. This forces you to relearn everything the game teaches you. That you can be a complete utter windowlicking mouthbreather and still hold entire flanks on your own because your tank does all the work for you. Jesus christ. Being stupid should never be rewarded.

 

The tank can just drive down the lower side of of the east flank on Karelia and elevate the front, and suddenly you're invincible. It literally doesn't matter. You're so fast that you get there before the heavies are there to punish you for it as well, nobody has even stands a chance of outplaying this purely from a tank perspective. It's too broken. It's the pinnacle of terrible balance. 

 

I honestly can't see it staying like this to be fair, it's patchday so people are going to play it. The problem is that 4 of them per side makes gameplay so bad. They tank better than heavies and they move as fast as mediums. That is the main problem. The mobile TD problem was already issued and sort of solved with the Grille 15, but here we go for round 2. And this time why don't we slap on armour onto it so it doesn't get penned? 

 

This tank singlehandedly ruins T10 with its broken characteristics. It doesn't even matter where it goes, if you run into it you're forced to fight it and it's just not possible. Maps do not allow for enough flanking and there are too many lanes of crossfire on almost every map to make it too punishing to try and flank in the first place. This is literally the exact opposite of what the game needed, even less thinking required to play well.

You seem to be new here or you would know that placing a broken OP tank in top tier guarantees WG C-Level Management new Sports Cars and hookers because every donkey will convert free XP for Shekels to be in the sweetspot till the nerfhammer hits.

There's also a difference between releasing OP tanks and releasing flat out broken ones. Nothing's ever been this broken in the game. Other tanks perform above standards when released and get nerfed. The entire selling point of this tank is that it is broken, and without extensive remodeling of the entire tank it's going to stay that way. I thought the Type 5 was the worst thing that happened to T10, WG decided to prove themselves and make me wrong

well this tank  is too much OP and wg morons do not give a sh.t about it as everyone will load gold ammo and try to pen it so they can get rid off the silver from servers, and again donation is coming, and yet again MM is broken as only tier 10=12 battles are now

Exactly. I could jsut drive forwrd and derp everyone with it and not care at all, and that was on test server where people only fire prem ammo WITH PRE-BUFF version. Its [edited]ridiculous how incompetent WG can be bringing these abominations in the game.

I've never had much faith in WG but I honestly didn't think that an entire company could collectively be this stupid. I want to play this game but justifying it gets really hard when catering to the lowest common denominator is the norm, and they constantly try their absolute hardest to find a new low to cater to. Pretty convinced you can stick a toddler just learning to walk behind this tank and still be more useful than over half the playerbase in any other tank

If only people voiced for the Object 263 to stay in its place before the patch, maybe WG would have known...

But hey, the the next set of Russian tanks need to be (and will be) even more broken.

yeah, I have been playing it , the tank is jsut so retarded, just drive around ,parh infront of an enemy and blad him in the face. Retreat, repeat. and they cant even run away.

 

Aced the tank in the 5th game with 9K dmg

I'm not past Tier 4 on this line.  Sounds like I should find another game to play for a month until they nerf it.

But WG said on the 9.22 patch video that the CT stats for the new TD line did prove the changes did work.... you know when it only faces Russian tanks 10 out 10 games there.

Also while we are on the topic of russian broken AF tanks...let me introduce you to the new russian tier 10 tank with medium tank mobility, heavy tank armour and gun and almost light tank cammo....enjoy.base cammo values.
