Hmm...here's an idea...try doing more damage to the enemy tanks instead of the friendly tanks...i know that when you are in a vehicle and see green you press the pedal and go and when is red you don't press...but in wot...when the tank you look at is outlined with red you press that left mouse button and when is green you don't press it. Got it?

Yeah its a bug, I heard it goes away after you actually finish off a friendly tank (i heard it works with arty not sure about regular ones) but after you kill them you wont be blue in the next game :) You only stay blue if you shoot and dont finish them off

Perhaps he tried so hard he forgot to actually damage vehicles on the other team?

Yes it's confusing having red AND green players on the battlefield at the same time.

Mebbe colourblind...

There is a clue though if you are...

It's usually the tanks firing at you that are the Reds unless of course your teammates are colourblind to.

If that's the case instead of 15 v 15 it's 29 v 1:)

I'm guessing it's thinking like that, that turned the OP blue.

damn those teamkillers.. System somehow should take care in total damage done too.. Simply now clickers dont care if they splash you for 400 damage (with several moduls/crew off) bc they know they wont turn in blue anyway..

Yesterday t49 from my team ran half map to get behind me and do 900 damage in my skorpion just bc i didnt "support him better"... despite fact that i was the only one who was supporting him.. He didnt even blame me in chat before that:) And he didnt even turn into blue after that hit..

Well this is it and tbh it's hard to see a "fair" way around it. A high alpha gun can really put any meaningful end to a teammates involvement in a battle but here's the thing it isn't always on purpose so I guess it really wouldn't be fair for that player to instantly turn blue or get banned for a couple of high alpha shots since over the course of many battles, there is bound to be "one of those" battles in which some careless idiot drives onto your shot and then does it again, believe me it happens! As much as we all can try and refrain from pulling the trigger, sometimes the moon and the sun line up so that it is unavoidable, very rare, but happens... even throw in a bit of lag or latency but it can and does happen.

That said, when some teammate gets in a tiff with another teammate for whatever reason, the balance of "I shot you, you shot me back" very often doesn't translate into a fair trade lol.... and I believe it's difference which ultimately leads to players turning blue and getting banned. Here's the thing, from what I see, usually in these "unfair trades" it's the wrong player that turns blue and gets banned.

Take something like a KV2 for example, happens to be a salty rager and derps a teammate most his hp, wrecks his modules and crew. That teammate that got one shot wrecked, battle retired effectively, obviously is not too happy so wants to return the favor but can't because he happens to have a small alpha pea shooter gun so in the outrage of it all, starts to hit the KV2 several times, doing really nothing much at all, but, because of the system, he turns blue and guess what the KV2 now does? Is this fair? nope but how can that ever be changed for all the accidental times a KV2 player might have derped an idiot that drove in his LOS?
