A medium tank that brawls with heavy tanks? You gotta see it to believe it!

Super Pershing, a pretty good & decent/notable tank (not OP, not trash) that can do miracles in the hands of a skillful player ...

... a hybrid vehicle that lies somewhere between the tier VIII medium and heavy tanks ...

... it is not an easy tank, it is pretty crabby & hard to maneuvre, but it can bounces/blocks tons of shells and return a hell of fire ...

... mind it as a stubborn mule that kicks hard under the command of a skillful driver ...

This is the very first tank I ever won in a (very hard) Marathon, it needed 150 k XP (or less, I cannot recall the exact info) and 150 kills for each nation (I think it was 7 at that time), it was not an easy task for someone with only tier VI-VII tanks at that time and the most of them LTs.

To collect the XP in tier X (*) battles with tier VI light tanks was not so hard, the hard part was the kills.

(*) For those with bad memory: Once upon a time in the WoT, the poor tier VI light tanks were used to participate in tier X battles ... It was really funny to try to survive in-between the monsters.

I bought the Super-Pershing a while back with gold when it was on a discount. It can be pretty fun sometimes, and pretty frustrating at other times.

Overall, a balanced tier 8 premium. Not op, not trash either, like TheArk_2014 said. :)

Weaker players will bounce on you all day long, while better players will pen you no matter how hard you try to hide or wiggle your weakspots. :D

I finaly replaced that crap for mutz, and i cant tell you how much i am happy! Sure it is good tank. Solid gun, fun front armor. But oh boy that crap is slow. Could be probably top 5 slowest tanks in whole game?

Remember that marathon... 7 nation... was a nightmare!

But this was also the time when you got the gold value in return if you already had it (and not credits).

It needs more Speed. I have it and it's okay but the speed is really needed. I don't understand why WG has never thought of giving more speed. You guys gave more speed to Jgt 8.8.

Hitting those spots with a derpy heavy gun can be quite frustrating and make for some awful trading time, sitting still concentrating like a proper pleb while the Persh keep taking away those hitpoints. I hate it sometimes. :(

That tank is useless in current always bottom tier 3/5/7MM.

You will always play either against 5 t9's and 10 t8's, or if you are really lucky you will get full t8 match.

Don't buy anything untill they fix always bottom tier 3/5/7MM.

I know what you mean. Aiming at the weakspot, firing, hitting the armor near it ... cuz RNG ... bleah!!!

...

I still enjoy the Super P. Very good credit maker, does not meet tier 10s ... works for me. :)

Would had gotten it for the memes but it seems to be regular gold price in the tree. Perhaps some other time.

Not worth full gold price, but discounted ... maybe.

There are plenty other better tier 8 mediums to go before choosing the super P. :)

Honestly, I love the tank. It's my first premium tank and I've got 1,8k games on it. But I think it needs at least a slight buff. The game keeps getting more and more tanks with higher penetration as well as gold rounds being shot even more than before, the armor just doesn't hold nearly as much as before. Sure, it has it's moments and can be played really effectively if you know what you're doing, but I feel like it's just being powercreeped too much.

Yeah the soft stats... which they never show are quite awful.
