If I buy Sixth Sense via Directive Slot using Bonds, will it apply to vehicle, or vehicle commander?

In other words:

if I move commander to another vehicle, will Sixth Sense bought as described above follow commander, or stay with vehicle it was purchased for and will be applied to another vehicle commander?

I know, I sound like a noob ... as I am one, but I appreciate someone sharing his experience on the matter. :)

It will follow the tank, not the commander. As it's equip slot is on the tank. And it only lasts for one game pr charge. But it's effect depends on your commander still. As in if he has the skill from before or not.

How should they be wasted?

Directives are far more useful than any of that "improved equipment"

Seems a waste to me to be using a difficult to come by resource to boost an in-game stat for one game when you could save them up and boost a stat permanently. But each to their own.

Nuclear you realise most people will never be able to afford the equipment?  So using the directive while waiting on a commander to train is viable?

Sure, but if your looking at it that way then what kind of bond income rate are you expecting? Because unless you can average approx 6(?) bonds per game you're not going to be able to run a directive to train that commander with anyway very often. I still think you're better off and would get the job done quicker chucking on a crew booster and just being super paranoid that you've been spotted every time you fire.

In about 14 years time I might be able to buy one piece of equipment which will very slightly boost the stats on one tank.

Or I can have 6th sense while I train a fresh crew.

I know which is more useful to me.

Yes, I can't use it on every commander all the time but I can use it on the commanders which don't have 6th sense for the few battles it takes to train a first skill.

I've used it on my Type 64 to train new crews during a crew xp even with boosters. As passive and active spotting on above mid tier with no 6th sense is not ideal. Don't really matter on low tiers tho. And I suspect your average WOT player will have to save up for 3 years with medals and events alone to get 5K bonds to save 0.3 seconds reload on their fav tier 9 HT on equipment. Or use it to make stock grinds or crew training easier. So what else should they use it on?

I have 2.5k bonds now. Not sure where I should get the rest in a hurry.

If I want to boost my tank I just use premium food. Instant 10% boost.

Nope, you can buy 50% commander and use the directive for 6 bonds a game and have fully working 6th sense.

But food doesn't give you sixth sense.

It also robs a useful consumable spot.

Whereas directives have their own slot and are a use for otherwise pointless bonds.

But you could use food instead of FE and replace that with firefighting directive.

Gotta say the firefighter directive is a pretty good fit on my tier 10 tanks which I run with food. It only costs two bonds per battle, a tier 10 tank will still make more bonds than this costs.

Having sixth sense makes the process of training a commander a lot less painful and long. I've used it a couple of times to get some higher tier light tanks up to speed quickly, in combination with xp events and boosters. it's worth a lot more to me to avoid having to mess around in low tiers or play tier 8 without sixth sense than having a 2.5% increase on one tank.

The other alternative is to convert XP to Free XP with gold, and then use free XP to run him up to 100%,

a quick fag packet calculation suggests this costs ~£5

Probably cheaper is to find another crew member in barracks at 100% in something, and convert them to that tank using a few hundred gold,

so maybe a quid.

I'd never spend bonds on a directive until WG fix the "1 bond per epic medal" shite

and also rethink the "one trillion bazzilion bonds per grind event"

Players go from having 7 bonds they've worked their a$$ off for, to having sackfuls of the darn things after an event,

and times that by a trillion if you are a unicum.

The acquisition scaling is super dumb even by WG's world class standards of WTF super-dumbness
