If so, why? When? For me, it all comes down to patch 9.18. Not only it killed my 2 favourite tanks (sp1c and wz131), but also introduced the 3/5/7 template which is probably the worst thing that ever happened to this game. I don't really mind OP tanks as I always can escape them, but there is no escaping from shitty matchmaking.

No need to get into details. Absurdly broken pay to win policy of WG killed this game for so many people and WG, not giving a single fudge, is still doing everything to milk the remaining of the community. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore.

I play about 1 or 2 hours almost every day, so I presume the game doesn't lost his value for me. It's not perfect, but has tons of problem instead, but I still enjoy it.

1) overbuffed arties

2) overarmored tanks, (forcing to spam gold ammo)

3) horrible tank balance, (many old tanks become useless in battlefield)

4) still same poorly balanced maps

5) still same music for years

6) WG don't give a crap, and keep increasing their pay to win policy even more

HD maps might do a trick for a while, but only for the short period, because it still will be same broken game in prettier packing.

Also play about 3 hours nightly, sometimes more sometimes less.

Still holds an attraction and yes I enjoy playing WoT love shoot em ups and tanks can't go far wrong.

Well the alternative is watching some drivel on TV and conversing with wife, terrible I know but she loves her soaps and hates to be distracted.

WoT is pretty much the only game I actively played over the last years, so, without a real alternative (I also play Minecraft, but that's more for soothing the creative part of my mind when I don't have much time to do something else) and no real interest in new games (partly because I'd have to upgrade my computer), I might be a bit more forgiving with WoT than I would than I would normally be, but I have to admit that I still have "fun" whenever I play the game. Sometimes only for one or two matches or even just a quick stroll through the garage... and mostly because I stopped caring about most things I cared about a few years ago, but I still somewhat enjoy the time spent in the game, especially since it's for free.

That of course can't hide the fact that the game has massive problems behind every corner and that the whole project took a direction I don't like at all (let's not start with the devs' behaviour towards the players, which is very off-putting to say the least), but as long I can do *vrooooooam* and *booom*, I'll keep playing. Again, mostly because I stopped caring and taking anything here any seriously. If there happens to come the point where I don't have any fun anymore, I'll quit. Simples.

Sooo... tl;dr: Yes. For me, the game lost most of its value. But that doesn't have to mean that you can't have fun with what's left.

It feels for me lately like I have to push myself to play. Sucks that there is no viable alternative game.

Playing less and less lately. My favorite tier before the 3-5-7 was tier 8 and now that its ruined I don´t find much enjoyment in the game any more.

I guess it depends what you play for.  Me, I just like blowing things up and getting better at it.  All the subtle nuances of OP tanks and MM gripes ... straight over my head, I just see that as entitled little twonks bitching because things aren't the way they want.  It's a game, not real life - rumble round, point your gun, press the trigger.  Been doing it every day for 4 years now, and nothing I've seen has changed my opinion.
All this "pay to win" stuff - seriously girls, who do you think is paying for the server farm and bandwidth that you use for free?

yes, its lost.

because moronic balance, p2w, WG arrogance with insulting answers (Q&As) + lies (about premiums if you want an example..."premiums will never be better than their standard counterparts" // then...say this to Defender, Chrysler, Patriot..etc... . ), tanks removal and most important because they do NOTHING to correct this.

from when they started to accentuates more and more P2W factors ! (you know...moronic p2w prem tanks, weakpoints removal and increased p2w ammo usage)

Personally it started to lose value with the Maus overbuff, Type 5 buff and Defender release patch.
But these things I could somewhat deal with, because they where low in numbers and premium ammo (which should get removed) exist.

Then when the template MM arrived, I knew my time in this game were coming to an end.

Yea I think the template MM was the biggest single mistake WG have made (so far).

Yes, it does lose value over time for me for various reasons.

Ive got pretty much no more motivation to reach tier 10 in general with any more lines since it just dont feels like an enjoyable environment to play in. The enjoyable tiers however, which in my opinion are between tier 6 and 9, continuosly suffer from patch to patch.

The maps generally feel repetitve and simple minded. It leads to my impression that the game kinda wants to take the players hand and lead him to a predetermined area to fight in, regardless of map size.

Very questionable map design in general. The further implementation of super heavy tanks in said environment.

I feel for the OP. Only had 2000 games and there are things about it that drive me insane that will probably never be fixed. The problem with discussing it here is, you will always get unhelpful responses by people with tens of thousands of games under your belt, who forget what it was like to struggle against seemingly impossible odds. Familiarity with this game breeds casual arrogance - it's too easy to forget that this game has a ridiculous learning curve and a few tanks seem impossible to defeat.

You have to look to your stats. If they are increasing in any way at all, you're doing well. If not, it's a bad day, there are more days ahead and not all of them will suck.

Also look to how you feel abput playing the game. If you dread it and it's bringing you down, take a step back and live in the real world. I think some people value this game, and/or their skills at the game, more than they value everyday life. Get outside and feel the cold air on your face. Listen to the spring birds trying to start up a chorus. Forget the game for a while. Come back when you've healed.

I'm enjoying the HELL out of tier 9 right now. So no it's actually gained value, but not because WG did something good, it's because I've just come to like tier 9 :p
