Hello. have run Chinese new year home and got a nice bonus, good. But what are the tokens used for?

There is a thread in the announcements section that covers this...

Once you get 75 of them, you get a bigger reward with some consumables. It's all the way down on your mission tab in game under events if you want all the details on what you get.

Collect 76 tokens and you win a Type 59.

NOTE FOR THE HARD OF THINKING ... THIS IS AN JOKE, NOT SERIOUS, NOT REAL, YOU DO NOT GET ANY TANK FROM THIS SET OF MISSIONS. CLEAR? GOOD. :sceptic:

Finish the first mission (win and have a top 10 finish by xp) 75 times and you get a bunch of extra stuff - personal reserves, rations and premium consumables. I think the tokens are WG's new way of counting how many missions you've completed but it's pretty dim because they also use tokens during marathons and you get a tank at the end of those so it's understandable when confusion arises.

God forbid they simply show us a counter on the first set of missions. I guess they think we'll quit in disgust if we don't see some sort of reward, albeit an imaginary token with zero value that simply indicates another mission being completed.

The x3 xp for each completion is pretty useful too - I've breezed to tier 6 on the TD line and finished off the first skill on a couple of my light crews as well as stuck a bunch of xp into my higher tier grinds thanks to that.

Sometimes tokens can be used. Sometimes tokens are only for keeping count. There are all kinds of tokens used different ways and contexts. They mostly don't make sense as is. I like to think that there are more to them than presented. Or maybe the UI guys just did something for the sake of doing something. Most probably.
