Have you seen the abortion of the HD Tiger with update 9.22? I mean, we told them the Tiger DID NOT have machine guns on the turret (as many other tanks they insist on putting stupid childish machine guns on), and yet not only they still put it, but added a *edit tree trunk on the side wrapped in barbed wire and a piece of track on the side of the turret???? I mean the tank looks like a [edited]joke!

Who is the*edit who comes up with these *edit tank designs and especially who is the even more *edit

Not only these childish tanks are not at all historical, they just look stupid and unrealistic.  If there was a tank that was iconic of WW2 (and they used it extensively in their marketing material), it was the Tiger, and they managed to completely ruin it!

WG, a real bunch of *edit

German log gives the tiger 100mm's of space armour.

although im not surprised they messed up the model. Looks like someone dragged it through a mud ditch.

All the problems the game has to choose to whine about, yet you chose to whine about a bloody visual model that has no affect to gameplay...

What do you mean no turret machine guns? Do you mean the pintle mount? There is also a coaxial MG but it is less visible. And the tree trunk is used to help deal with difficult terrain such as mud.

Image result for Tiger I pintle mount MG

It also seems to perform better. The new Tiger I was finally able to ace in a battle where I also managed to get Top Gun. :child:

It's because the new model is the Tiger E , the late war version , it has the diffrent flatter roadwheels , and more clutter overall on it. Go and check online and you'll see that there is a big diffrence in looks between the early war versions and the E version of the Tiger.

You can also see this in War Thunder i guess.

New Tiger looks way way better then the show room floor model they had before that's for sure. I like it.

Says who? The Tiger 1 HD model in the game is a late model when elited. Any Tiger made after Jul 1943 had the new and smaller cast armor cupola, that had room for the MG mount like you see the model has now on the half circle rail that goes around the smaller cupola that's for the MG to mount on. The Tiger 131 and HT no 6 is the early Tiger model with the bigger cupola. That did not have an MG mount ring.

And who said they never did that? Oh look. A tiger With tracks on the side of the turret and a log. Horses is a bonus.

Seriously, these people and their German tanks, it's like some sort of weird cult.

I quite like the new Tiger I model, personally I wish they'd make more models like that :P

I specifically looked up model on tanks.gg to see it myself. It looks better. I especially like StG 44 hanging of the left side of the turret, looks nice.

I like the model, I wish they will pimp out more of the existing HD models like they did with the Tiger and the M48 Patton.

And I hope they will bring the 3d customisation soon.

Well Tiger I was in the very first wave of HD models. As the first few were done and outsourced to different companies as WG lacked time for it then. WG have said they want to redo all of those as results did vary, and to make it as detailed as the recent models. iirc they had the M4, Panther and Hellcat on their list next.

Nice! Would also love to see the 7/1 redone if I remember correctly it was also one the early ones and used to be my favourite to look at but these days it's not so great compared to the others.

I'm very pleased with the design  anP OP has embarrassed himself.

One issue I'd noticed was that Ht No VI and Tiger 131 were much smaller than the Tiger I model.  Now they're all the same size.

It was pointed out to you last time what that MG was and why it is historical so why do you again say that it’s incorrect?
