Dear diary.

It's been awhile, i have been to busy playing the game.

Enjoying all the great new features of being able to flank, impenetrable frontal armor tanks.

Tanks like the Obj 268 4, which according to Quickybaby has average armor, i am doing my best to flank it, and It's possible alot of the time, as all i have to do is to go down one of the other 2 lanes on the often huge map.

Ofcourse theres the occasional "insert tier 10 TD here" shooting me to pieces, but atleast i can flank.

I might ofcourse also get jumped by one of the numerous autoloaders around, able to fully clip me.

But i can flank.

Atleast my armour is so bouncy, my size is a amx elc under a microscope, my gun is so accurate i can hit the wings of a fly, my camouflage is so great a strv is jealous, my speed is like the flash on steroids.

So i cannot possibly get a buff, without getting broken and Overpowered.

Regards, Leopard 1

Just rely on your excellent (insert everyone's favourite European nation here) team mates to come to your aid,

they will help you flank by pushing you out of your bush, and offer sold tactical advice from either the base camp red line or from beyond the grave.

Sometimes they will also let you take the first shot before popping round the corner to add theirs.

I miss the good old days where my position was helpfully communicated to the enemy team, to make my game more exciting.

This has raised two issues I wanted to make my own thread about. How do you actually go about flanking an enemy tank on most maps? Either he has five team-mates hiding behind him, or you crash into a rock. And the second problem is - how come everyone says certain tanks eg O-I line vehicles are easy to penetrate? Every time I bounce a gold shell (aka skillshot) off the front armour, I feel that it would do more damage if I leapt out of my own tank and charged the O-I brandishing a sword.

I started throwing HE at their cupolas. Doesn't do a whole lot of damage (about 250 per shot from the IS7's HE), but hey, it's something... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Depends on the map. Usually it's best to get unspotted, figure out what is hanging out on the other approaches to whatever choke-point is being held by something with stupid armour, see if you can kill that, rape stupidly armoured tank from behind.

On most maps "flanking" basically comes down to ignore stupidly armoured tank, kill his team, gang up on him when he has no support left.

Yep, not even shitting you.

He was going like armors average. and then he kept yapping about how bad the gun was, and that its a decently good TD, however its remaining to be seen if its actually Broken and OP or not.

My theory is that there's a secret EU3 server cluster, where all the really paper armour sniper tanks go and play Malinovka on endless rotation.

CDCs, Leo PTA and 1s, KJpz... they're all there... enjoying the old WoT. I bet they've even got the square draw circle and everything

But you can't just flank like some nub scrub. You also have to do the zig and the zag.

I've read about a topless swede that performed a combination of the three. A myth for sure.

Leopard 1 just doesn't have anything redeeming, except for being an EXCELLENT sniper.
