Well I like OP's list there, sounds pretty good.

But WG wouldn't add this to game, because the tank's don't have new stuff like upcoming Italian new autoloaders or Swedish TDs siege mode.

I would welcome any new trees, including the Finnish one. I didn't know that Finland bought tanks from the Soviet Union, I thought that they had western tanks.

But before the Finnish, I would appreciate a Hungarian tech tree, as it is more special and independent.

Everyone, only T54M and T55M are technically already there but whit different guns etc. As finns mounted their own guns.

So these ain't copys as they are not in any tech tree yet.

Well did the Chinese or Japanese meds have anything new? No they did not...

Did WG still add them, yes they did...

Also Sisu could become a new Finnish consumable: you take only 60% of the dmg that you would normally take for 30 secs.

Chinese meds are copy tanks, I agree. But the Japanese? Based on some other design doesn't mean that they are copies.

Anyway, WG brought unique playstyles with both lines, which is good for the game.

And here I was, thinking that pz4s delivered were all J models. Never heard that PTs BMPs were re-armed with 100mm guns.

Otherwise seems nice starting point, though not very original mini-line.

Edit: the guns are just wrong.. No point in continuing this line of thought, if guns won't be at least somewhere in realms of possibility. T-54/55 in particular are beyond napkin design. Use 100mm:s and be happy, the 55M might have superior gun handling due to improved stabilizers, new barrel and gun sights, maybe better AP or swap for indigenious APDS, same 330 HEAT. 155mm is completely a SPG, doesn't fit to others. 120mm L1s have never been considered for FDF use, not to mention the 128mm. As before mentioned, PT and BMP haven't got new guns, even similiar re-armaments than in other countries (85mm or 90mm) have been passed over, so I'ts just the 76mm GROM with nasty HEAT round. BT-42 isn't really fit for T6, as 114 H 18 lacks punch at that tier, particularily as the HEAT was very poor. Maybe swap the BMP with Comet. BT-42 as T4-5 prem light.

Were those russian amphibious tanks really used? The tiers III and IV.... I think it's quite original line for a country which never produced a sinlge vehicle of its own :P Only those T55's would be pretty much re-dos of tanks that are already in the game. And well, tiers I and II are meaningless anyways. But I guess the best we can hope for is BT42 as a standalone premium vehicle :) It had finnish made turret I remember?

So finnish tree speciality, cant drown itself?

Given, how beautiful the T55A looks, I cant say anything against the Idea of those Tier 9 and 10s

You are missing a guy with molotov coctails there. Good camo, decent damage, armor not so good. And if you give him a bicycle, speed would be adequate.

Or skis. Gold ammo would be satchel charge.

The 155 K/77 was a field artillery gun, not a tank gun so you'd have a line of medium tanks that suddenly end in a tier 10 arty... :sceptic:

Spoiler

Even a 128 on the T54/T55 chassis would look stupidly big and out of place, so I think it would be best to stick to the 100mm guns if any of this was ever conceived.

Yeah, because all the existing tank lines are based on "extensive research" by WG's developers and like totally existed :hiding:

What do you think?

I always wanted a Finnish line as my family is from there, I have been looking into this for some time and also made a suggestion about this on the forum way back...

There is actually a Finnish tank in the game already the tier 7 British Charioteer which was used by the Finns, from the late 50's to early 80's.

I got a photo at home somewhere from my great uncles war photo diary from the Finnish Winter war It shows a tank in the background I will scann and post this when i get a chance.

Some of the photos are quite grim, there is a lot pictures of frozen Russian soldiers as they didnt have proper winter clothes. My uncle Matti felt sorry for them, but was killed when skiing over a anti personnel mine.

My grandmother gave me his photographic war diary before she passed away

No.

Even as being a Finn by myself, no.

We dont need clone lines when there are so many more interesting lines still left to be implemented.
