Which is better for centurion 1, gun rammer or enhanced gun laying drive?

I am personally thinking of going with  coated optics, vertical stab and gun laying drive but I am unsure about the gun laying drive part. Is it good to take or not? Or maybe you guys got better suggestion?

I played it with Gun Rammer, Vert Stabs and Optics.

Gun Rammer and Vert Stabs for obvious reasons, Optics since the base view range of 400 is quite nice, but 440 is even nicer. Vents might be an option as well, but I'd rather boost view range. Due to how the Cent I is played for the most part, popping up over a hill using the gun depression and going back down again I don't consider GLC that great over either Optics of Vents. Sure the turret armor can take a hit now, but you will most likely still take more shoots half aimed while popping up and down behind a hill than sit still and aim.

Well, the basic rule is: Can it load a rammer, you take the rammer. Given how it gives you that 10% DPM boost. And yeah I would go for a rammer to boost the awfull DPM. Just go for the boring old optics, rammer and vstab. The main issue with this tank is the attrocious dispersion values it has. .19/.19/.15 I believe. giving it essentially the worst dispersion values for any comparable gun on the tier.

Stab/rammer/optics indeed.

You tend to get a lot of 'random' spotting damage with good view range, which shortens your grind - I bet more than getting a minor boost to aiming time (at least on a tank that has good base view range to start with) will.

The gun handling is good and vert stabs are enough.
Rammer, vert stabs and optics and youll outspot the lights

Cent 1 aiming time is good while its reload could use a helping hand so go with rammer. I don't think there's any tank where its worth using EGLD over V.stab so its a bit useless for higher tier mediums.

If the tank can use rammer, you use the gun rammer. except on things like T-34 or Matilda BP going with vents + GLD over rammer is an option because with that they can fully aim their each shot after firing so its more effective at long range, but even then I preferred rammer on my T-34

If the tank mount VStabilizer, you mount VStabilizer. except for the T-100 LT and possibly some other light tanks with ridiculous gun handling.

Then its typically either Optics with tanks that has between lets say base 360 - 390 view range, or in other cases, Vents.

GLD is very rarely used on anything that gets both Rammer and VStab already, and there is never ever an excuse to use it over VStabs, because due to how it actually works, the VStabs is flat out better.
