Anyone else think this tank is a complete broken joke? fast as a med, op armor td alpha reload of a med, and even better no reliable frontal weakspots. GJ wargaming :) also 6 tds per game at tier X and 3 arty :) very nice and balanced against tank types that involve a brain and not the ability to sit frontally in the open and rip apart anything that they come across. Please for the love of god if you want the game to survive fix tier x TD's.....

the same thing they do to E100 and Type5/Mause. nothing. you die horribly and get balanced back to the garage.

To be fair i'd rather fight 2 E-100 than a single obj268v4 in a tier 8 tank

and the outcome would be the same, only the 2 E100s will send you to garage faster!

no.

They are prone to spamming heat, and all tanks have tracks.

They do not arrive to the choke point before you do

And they have huge flat sides on their turrets, even a bar ontop that's pennable from the front.

They are much more sluggish, easier to trick and get away from. Keeping a distance gives you an advantage against them.

Much easier to permatrack from a corner

They are easier to spot and set up a strategy against.

They also tend to avoid hills, so you can avoid them altogether and just focus on doing what you can from an elevated position

All this result in more probability i'm going to garage with some damage dealt rather than just kebabd by a W right click activist

Not gonna argue with that load of bull as clearly you have a wild imagination and on top of that a huge expectations from a tier 8 in a tier 10 match!

Fairly sure i'm aware of tier 8 gameplay.

Also i have played twice as many tanks than you. Actually i've aced twice as many tanks than you have even played.

I love overtaking meds in this TD at the beginning of the game. Get in forward position first, shoot then go back (20km/h in reverse) and just relocate with my awesome 50+ km/h). I can also brawl in tight corners and actually sidescrape with a TD which is also very nice.

It's a nice tenk but WG could buff the traverse speed a little.

9/10

Apart from the discussion about the 268 v4 itself I have one question:

Why should ever a tier 8 be able to engage comfortably a tier X well armored tank frontally?

Why shouldn't it? Afterr all thats the mm of tier 8 tanks. Of course it shouldn't be easy but there has to be some frontal weakspots for tier 8 to exploit, and no flanking isnt one of them on current maps and meta

Probably not, but when that Tier x is faster in straight line, turns faster, has better dpm better gun handling, can you even engage the thing? of course a T8 tank is supposed to be like a mosquito on the [edited]of a bull fighting another bull.. (T10 vs T10).. but add corridor meta how can you even get to the rear and sides of that TD unspotted by enemy tanks..

there are a few tanks in game when i meet them... i just take the next road off and go farm damage elsewhere.. or i get farmed.. it is as simple as this..

Define compfortably?

There´s a lot of wiggling room between having a reasonable chance to damage a tank, if it doesn´t take any or the correct steps to avoid taking damage and the engagement with said tank being compfortable.

I also have a question. Why should one of the best armoured vehicles be fast? Why should this thing have better power to weigt than a Patton, E50M or Cent AX?
