Have not noticed much of that but the chat issues are getting worse. I'm actually starting to get annoyed by it, and I'm not even in a clan or have friends.

It's a feature!

Not a bug!

Switch to 2.0 sound and it should be fixed, at least that worked for me, kinda made my speaker setup redundant but hey at least I got sound front both the right and the left.

Yeah, that sound problem also bugged me. Doesn't matter Vanilla or modded, Game just randomly stops outputting audio correctly, so either the sound is HEAVILY distorted and/or not heard at all on one side of headphones.
Since I had "low frequency enhancement" option on, I figured it might help to disable it - it helped for that day.
Fast forward some time later, and the things with audio still happen, even without the option enabled. Only now the restart of the game is mandatory since you can't do anything to fix it.

Never had the issues, since selecting surround sound 2.0/2.1 and rebooted the PC way before Xmas.   (it was also a coincidence that I also updated my realtek drivers)...

Been sound problem free since November twenty three.

Thanks for a tip, I'll give it a shot.

I haven't had this issue either since I changed to 7.1 sound.

No, I don't have actual 7.1 sound system but Windows 10 spatial sound is fairly decent approximation with good headphones.

I haven't noticed the bug in 9.22. I did experience the sound problems 2 patches ago I think.

5.1 configuration and outdated drivers :harp:

Are the guys who have sound problems using the on board sound chip or a dedicated sound card?

Both, got one rig with a dedicated sound card and 2 without that all got the issue, as I posted above switching to 2.0 sound fixes it, but it ain't exactly optimal.

I've never yet had an issue with the sound in WoT and we're coming up on eight years.
