So I'm currently grinding my way down the French TD's and was looking at the Foch, I noticed that the upgraded tracks on it are essentially useless. The stock tracks can support any and all upgrades you want to put on it, and the hidden stats aren't even that much better. Is there any reasonable reason as to why you would upgrade the tracks?

With upgraded tracks you get better dispersion values when moving and turning the hull, other than that you get better traverse speed and better terrain resistance (a hidden stat that affects mobility together with hp/t)

I pity you having to grind those god-awful TDs, especially the tier 6, 7 and 8 pieces of garbage

Checked, it mainly affects track health, tank mobility (acceleration + better ground resits) & tank rotation. The latter two are always good to have on a casemate TD, so i'ts worth it imo.

Also the tracks give you better gun dispersion while moving & turning, so that's neat too.

Edit: I got ninja'd. But short gist is: the tracks are worth it, they give a variety of small buffs that help casemate tanks plenty.

If you should use your right not to full grind a tank, please be informed, all your future posts after that point regarding "tank not fast" "bad tank" "not worth the grind" etc are considered invalid.

If you look at fochs doesn't that kinda make you a voyeur?

I think most people focus on the caliber of the gun or the stats that are normally hidden from view before worrying about what kind of tracks are being used.

I think that the tracks only need to be upgraded if that's what gets your motor running.

Personally I'd focus on improving the equipment that keeps the foch going longer to allow for a more pleasurable gaming experience.
