if i buy coated optics on discount for 250.000, then sell them wither with the tank or because i bought too many of them when the discount is over, will i sell it for 250.000 or still for 175.000 even after the discount is over?

They'll sell for the 'normal price', i.e. 250k. No reason not to 'invest' your spare credits into equipment, at least if you keep an eye out for the next sale - kind of sucks if you have 6M stored in equipment and there's a discount on a T10 tank you want.

Investing in consumables is also a good idea. You tend to use both the rep- and medkits in a battle, 3k/battle stacks up. A hundred automated fire extinguishers also tend to go a long way, there's little reason not to run those over manuals.

You don't lose credits if you buy in a 50% sale and sell when there is no sale on - always stock up on med kits, repair kits, extinguishers etc. when there is a sale on, what you don't use can be sold for what you paid - just make sure you don't sell during a sale..

already got 200 extinguishers, 600 repair kits and 500 medkits. i dont' use gold so i have to sell the equipment with the tank and lose a lot of credits, unless i stack up

To answer the OP question: yes. If you buy an equipment piece (for credits, not bonds) on sale it will sell for the purchase price so you break even unless you sell the equipment piece while it's on sale.

Investing in consumables and equipment is always a good idea, I normally buy full equipment kits for new tanks I'm going to get to save some credits there, your garage should be expanding for the most part and not just advancing up lines. This means that you need more equipment.

Same thing applies with consumables but not based on the amount of tanks but rather how much you play. 1500 for a small rep kit is very cheap, it will easily earn itself in. Same thing applies for all the small ones, and the even bigger difference is on the large kits. At 20K they don't make sense economically but at 10k they become a lot more justifiable. This means that stocking up on a lot of them during sales (along with rations) cuts all your consumable costs in half for how many amount of games you buy them for. I currently have over 4K Big repkits and roughly 90 million credits invested into consumables. I won't lose credits with it either, if my credits go low I'll just sell a bunch of these things and it'll break me even.

Ultimately what this does is let me play T10s with the large consumables with a much smaller deficit and let me play more games for the same amount of credits. This is why you go all in on consumables when they're on sale. This is how I've always done it. Farm credits in T8 prems to rack up decent credits > buy so many consumables that it'll last until the next sale > spam T10 since I like that tier the most

This is how I fund my T10s since I don't play a lot of SHs or anything like that, nor spend huge amounts on the game.

You can always sell a 1000 at normal price if you suddenly find yourslef really needing the credits, so why not?

There's literally no point in not stocking up on them, you're not losing credits, and when you have everything in stock you don't have to wait for the next equipment sale to get equipment on any of your new tanks. I have a couple of each of the most used equipments, each type of rammer and vents, both vstabs, a couple optics and gld's, and I pre-purchased a superheavy spall liner in advance for when I unlocked my E 100. This way if I ever buy a new premium tank or I go up a line that splits so I get a completely new tank I know I'll have the equipment ready to just slap on the second I buy it, and if I'm in a pickle for credits I can just sell an extra large-caliber rammer or vents for a quick cash and then just stock them back up on the next sale.

Thr forums are stupid in that they show your join date as MM-DD-YYYY, so it's 17k battles in 14 months. It is still a lot, but not unachievable, just over 40 battles per day for over a year.

EDIT oh you edited it you cheeky little... :teethhappy:

Any tank that can use vertical stabilizers should use them instead of a gun-laying drive. They are just a better version of it in that a gld only makes your aiming faster when you stop, but vstabs make your aiming better even when moving.

sorry i meant gld's. i only used them for the t69 and the and the emils. ramraid got his numbers wrong and it's none of his business but i guess i do play a little too much, though i must say i got a  couple of relatives who helped me reach that number. is that allowed by the way? they don't use my account as often any more so i can have them stop if it isn't

Technically it isn't, I guess, but how will they know..

And as far as gld's go, any of my tier 5-7 tanks that can't use vstabs mostly has rammer, gld and either optics or vents.

You play way too much. Without learning anything at all. THAT is your problem.

You have no idea how the most basic of game mechanics (the economy) works.

you spam the battle button all day without actually knowing anything about what you aredoing horribly wrong in every battle.
