I could use some advice on how to play the Live Oaks map in lightly armoured tanks. Especially in the French autoloaders I struggle in this map.

brawling in the city is not an option.

The shoot out from city with 'td hill' west side of lake is not an option.

South-east corner is ruined by all (mainly russian) tanks with inpenetrable turrets.

How do you guys play this map?

The city on this map is pretty much e relevant,

pretty much the game is decided by who will win the south-east corner,

and I always try to fight that part, especially if I'm in south spawn, because it has an advantage.

The only thing to do is have a good amount of lights-meds to claim that corner,

but you'll need to claim control of the low ground (that means drop to the river and fight from hull down positions),

in order to win that corner.

I always choose the eastern flank - in whatever tank I'm in. Just be agressive and poke your turret up here and there. Eventually, you'll get your opportunity to shoot some stuff. If the entire flank is falling, I tend to fall back to the arty hole in the west, in order to spot the enemies coming around the border of the map.

I also go east most games, but I find if you don't outnumber the enemy and/or your team hesitates, there is nothing you can do. When the enemy is hull down with strong turrets, poking is pretty much suicide.
