Yes, yes also my ELC EVEN 90 needs equipment I can buy with bonds that will turn me invisible like on Wargamings ELC tank trailer otherwise it's false advertisement.

Seems like an awful idea to go for a Skorpion if you're used to playing heavies. No, there's no camo. That's kind of the point, something one might call 'balance'. Neanderthal term if you ask me. Doesn't matter anyway, because all the good players put their Skorpion in the base and waits for the enemy to come. That'll ensure people will remember it as being far more overpowered than it actually is (last time I checked, it performed on-par with the RHM-B.).

Serious tip: Stay at long range. If you can't, be close enough that your commander can reach out and 'hi-five' the enemy crew if he wants to. With the 12,8cm shell, of course. Then use your 20kph reverse speed to prevent the enemy from reminding you that sitting in a bush is a better idea for ~90% of players. Good luck!

The Skorpion G is in dire need of nerfing.

Think the statistics tell it does well enough and no buffs will come. Buffing it would however be in line of WG ”balancing” to cater to the multitudes of sub-50% redline campers.

You simply need more experience about positions that work for ScorpG. Been there too... :(

it’s a tough tank to learn ( I’ve not played it too much) as soon as you’re spotted everyone goes nuclear on your butt because your high damage gun

The fact it's not as good as people think doesn't mean it needs a buff

I think opinions on Skorpion G can be summed in two groups:

- from people who can't spell the name correctly: You can ignore these opinions and just assume they are lacking in also other departments besides grammar.

- from people who can actually write "Skorpion G". These people might be onto something.

Skorpion G has better camo than the Charioteer so I don't know what your problem is.....

M56 Scorpion indeed needs a buff. skorpionG however, not a cat in hells chance. its already the best tier 8 TD.

Skorp needs a speed nerf.  I bought the tank when it came out the first time thinking that it will be better than my favourite Borsig as it had some more speed and a bit of gun depression.  Well I was wrong and I suck in this tank.  Its speed kills it for me - I just cannot stay put and always rush up to where the action is.  This is exactly why I sucked in the Toaster - damn speed got me in to trouble too much. It needs to play a bit more like the Waffle 4- forward speed is not so high, except a good reverse speed would be great.  So, Nerf the forward speed significantly, Increase the turning speed and buff the reverse speed.

I might then be able to play the thing.

Until then I will stick with waffle

So you want to nerf the speed just because YOU haven't got the map awareness or logic to realize that you're in a paper TD that's pretty big and is easily punished? I think you have a bit of learning to play to do ;)

Well 5th most sold premium ever it seems, so doubt they will touch it in any way.

It doesn't, it's pretty well balanced -

It's just a good tier 8 premium and probably differs from a lot of the other TDs in that it's an all rounder, it isn't amazing at anything but it also isn't terrible at anything. Good alpha but not super higher, decent pen for tier 8, has a turret, camo is poor, mobility is good in a straight line but it's no medium and it's paper.

That is why it's popular, it's reliable on most maps and in the harsh tier 8 MM as your regular pen is generally enough to challenge tier 10 tanks and you have 300 pen APCR for the super heavies.

Indeed, much learning is required.  Map awareness I have in abundance and believe me I understand paper tanks as I play predominantly the German TD paper line.  Logic however seems to fly out of the window whenever I get in this tank and I just cannot restrain myself and sit at range - I manage that no problem in the other tanks, so this tank must have some form of rigging that causes me to play like a noob:)

I am afraid that this tank will have to gather more dust whilst I have more fun in my others.  I do like its reverse speed though, just really hate its turn rate. Trouble is that it sees too much tier 10 at the moment and unless you have some good cover or decent landscape to flit around in, its easily spotted and then dumped upon.  I do not have the medium tank skills to make it shine in mid range engagements. If I am getting into tier games most of the time, I would rather play the Waffle 4 or the Jag tig as these are much more effective at these tiers (for me) than the Skorpion G.
