While one person may not be enough to save a person's life, there is strength in numbers. You can do this more often to promote helping charities, creating awareness.

It would have been a nice gesture, if Wargaming had doubled the amount.

indeed that would have been nice, still i dont get it why a war game is a official supporter for war child :S every support is welcome ofcourse but still. just like the new farcry has a ar rifle in its pack as bonus content just after the shooting in a school in america, ofcourse i know something like that should not matter but i think allot of people in america would disagree because that gun was used in the school shooting.

The War Child emblem that goes on the side of your tank is, IMHO, a reasonable design but, like all the other emblems, it is just a piece of useless eye candy.

WoT engaged in a common psychological ploy used in business known as an "exchange fiction" wherein you don't just ask for money (by rattling a tin under someone's nose in the street) you give them something in exchange for their money (historically in the UK a paper flag or a sticker). The item "exchanged" for your money can be almost worthless, but you collect lots more money if you employ an exchange fiction. Recent research has shown that, within certain parameters, the more valuable the exchange item the more willing people are to pay for it.

If WoT wants to raise more money for War Child next year change the colour of the emblem (gold?) and make it so any tank that has that emblem gets a boost to crew skills - either permanent, for a set time (1 year?) or for a set number of games (e.g. 250). I can guarantee that if the next set of WarChild emblems gave a 1% boost to crew skills the amount of money raised would double (at least).

Happy to help, have always contributed to this campaign and will continue to in future.

Just a recommendation.....find a "historical" emblem you can sell for the next time.

Cheers
