Maybe not the right place to ask this, but I kinda wanted to gift the ELC to a friend this weekend since I only have money to throw at the game starting today, but it's not for sale at this moment. Anyone know when it will be on sale again?

I wish wargaming could have specials more on month ends when a person gets paid! I always look at specials and cry "why? why? why?"

There is no reason to suggest it won't be, to be honest it'll probably go into the in-game tech tree for gold fairly soon I reckon.

Great, was thinking so too. Because in all honesty, its actually not a bad tank. It's a one trick pony pure scout thingamabob!

It's the main trainer for the line, so I'd expect it to follow the likes of the S1, which IIRC came out, then made it into the regular store a patch or two later.

Might be too early for patch 1.0, but it'll probably be the patch after I reckon.

If you have to wait to get paid to spend 20 quid on a digital gift for a pal, you are mismanaging your finances.

Go immediately to your bank and open a savings account. For the forseeable future every time you spend money on something you really don't need to, like that £3.00 cup of coffee, or £20 for a digital gift for someone else, either put the money in the savings account instead, or spend the money but *also* put the same amount in your savings account.

Repeat until you have either or both of 4 Months Pay/6 Months Rent set aside.

Well done, you have now improved your spending habits, and set aside a handy buffer for rainy days and occasional opportunities such as buying your friend a gift,

Congratulations, you are no longer living on a financial cliff edge and your life expectancy just went up by several years.

It was replaced with the CDA 105 instead "that's not a bad premium btw". And since that got back so fast. I see why the ELC won't. I'm sure it will appear again a time or two before December starts.

Pretty much EXACTLY what went through my head. If things are that bad, the OP needs to get his priorities right.

I appreciate the advice and needless to say my finances are done in such a way that I have a separate savings account....not that that is of any importance or anyone else's business. The fact of the matter is Wargaming chooses strange times to offer specials.

One thing to mention is that since I live in South Africa, our exchange rate is insanely crazy. The price we pay for a weeks worth of groceries is the price of a 40 Euro item purchased in game. and thats a steep expense in a persons monthly expenses especially in my country...but thats another topic.

The fact that you even still assert this  shows that you totally failed to to grasp the content of my post.

which was not directed *at* you BTW, more towards you and others in your position, nothing personal.

I'll put it more simply.

If you have to wait to be able to pay for something, then you simply cannot afford it.
