the 3/5/7 format pisses a lot of players off when your low tier so fix the MM and go 5/10 or single tier for lower tiers , at the end of the day the games supposed to be fun and quite often 3/5/7 is no fun at all for guys who like to play the smaller vehicles

If you put in some kind of punitive punishment for drowning or cliff diving then they will just do a Leroy Jenkins right at the start so there's no real answer to this except making the matches more even across the tiers.

Leave everything as is but remove XVM. This will cut from all the hate and suicides at the start of the match.

As for the last one performing seppuku, it's his/hers prerogative. It may be annoying for you and all of those "no cap kill all" folks but it is what it is so suck it up :)

BTW drowning will lose you crew xp so people lose something already. I for one don't generally suicide when in arty as i can still give a last hit or even one kill, if i'm lucky. But it did happened to splash myself or jump of a cliff just to finish a battle faster or to taunt enemies who are out for blood after i annoyed them. Nowadays you can't know all that as there is no chat between teams so i don't remember the last time i did that. But i'm farming the swedish TD line and i do remember jumping of a cliff in my tier 6 after i was left alone against 3 tier 8 enemies who i couldn't penetrate till then. So why give them the satisfaction? Just go in flames and press battle again much faster...

But I'm also frustrated by idiots who kill themselves before we spot the first enemy...(Oh crap, you're all crap, bye, etc.). Last one I saw was a Lorr 40t who suicided in a battle vs Tier 6....I mean...wtf?

Yes. The last one I saw drove straight his MT into the sea complaining that he wasn't going to play with such a n00b team and was fed up with "carrying" such people. He was (apparently) a mid-50s percent good player, too. Quite bizarre.

1. Removing deep water? Nope.

2. Adding a report function for suiciders may or may not be useful. It really depends what kind of punishment awaits the culprit.

3. Ugh, no. Never. If i decide to ramkill someone who happens to have a bit more weight and armor then i do i'm supposed to be punished? lel.

My proposal is, to remove the ability to destroy the own tank.

If a clicker decides to kill himself on the nearest rock, let the damage taken count as team damage and allow him to remove all but the last point of HP. Send a message in all chat that player X removed X amount of HP and is on one HP left.

And make him visible across the map so the enemy team can deal with him.

This will not help when there's a deeper puddle of water, but at least he'll be unable to kill himself with HE.

This of course goes for any "suicider", doesn't it.

How dare you disrespect my indirect fire vehicle camping spawnpoint entire battle, taking 0 risks and suiciding when enemy is inbound

Whilst suiciding arty can be annoying just why exactly, after being rolfstomped, do they owe you anything?

Thats the point too. Enemy arty is not your friend who comes to visit you with a sixpack and some free xp.

I allready opened a topic once asking WG to create a credit penalty for suiciders so they stop doing it...

Suicide in World of tanks is lamme, firstly a suicider is someone who gives ups from fighting and chose to end the game quicker by removing the possibility of players in the enemy team from reaching objectives or medals drowning or jumping out of a cliff... for this reason i think everyplayer who self destructs its own tank should take a financial penalty...

I dont care what the usual suiciders will answer... "oh should i give damage to others for free?" people who suicide, dont understand how wrong is it... they are selfish cowards... end of story,

there isnt anything more anoying that your playing for a objectives (let say, doing X amount of damage) and you end up not archieving that objective because the guy in the enemy team decides to suicide to deny you the damage, or the top gun medal.. its a coward selfish behaviour that completely should be penalized...

the last topic i opened complaining about suiciders had a lot of dramaqueens arty player saying suicide was their "honorable" way to die... ffs... since when arty players have honor? SINCE WHEN?? honor?? if you had honor in first place, you wouldnt even touch arty...

But anyways, i think WG should take action against suicide!

How about this? Penalty for drowning in xp and credits and the hp left and kill will be added to the nearest enemy player?

Best solution as mentioned earlier from drowning:

0xp, 0 credits, 3x repair cost.

Personally I don't see why players should not be allowed to suicide, but I don't see why they should profit from it either

I would suggest that (in any tank) if you drown or Splash damage yourself to death shooting a wall then you should get no rewards for that game... 0 HP, 0 Credits - and still have to pay full cost for tank and module repairs. (so you end up with 0HP and -lots of credits)

I don't know whether you could extend this to include driving off a cliff as I see nothing wrong in killing yourself driving off the cliffs on Overlord in an attempt to land on the Heavy tank driving underneath

There now, isn't that better?

I believe the same rule should apply to team killers.

If you said 900m and fighting 'till the bitter end, then you'd be describing me.

Why focus on it, players deliberately get themselves killed at the start of the battle there is no difference. Click in game report if it makes you feel better move on to the next battle.........

After all it is only a game why you heff to be so mad???
