Hey guys

what are the best perks for t30 crew?

I have BiA + camo on all + 6 sense on my commander

I am thinking about removing camo because even with camo I get spotted all the time anyway...

T30 is more like a heavy tank than a sniping TD. BIA is good, but then heavy class skills are more suited like the terrain resistance one, snap shot and then maybe repairs...

T30, and T110E4 after it are more heavy tanks than traditional TDs, so I'd go with BiA, full repairs and a set of sixth sense, snap shot smooth ride etc. before picking camo as a 4th skill.

Stop sitting in useless positions (aak right in the corner of the map) You have the same camo value as the T34 heavy tank, eve as bottom ter you should be in the enemies faces shaving off HP and using your mega strong turret.

all that was said above i agree

in the very beginning T30 even was a heavy iirc

and it is pretty obv comparing it with T29 or T34

it is a heavy. you play and skill it as a heavy

if not, you are simply doing it wrong

the gun handling (also reload and mobilty) is so bad that you need bia and food

so firefighting > camo

the only reason to camo > firefighting is if you refuse to use a food consumable and go with a fireextinguisher instead

but then you are doing it wrong again...

gun handling without food is too inconsistent and trolly. this is one if the guns in the game that really need it

even with bia + snapshot + food + vents + gld  you will hate it sometimes!

i also do prefer off-road-driving > smooth ride

bc the bonus of SR is only very little anyways (most ppl dont know that) and in comparison to the mobilty boost u get from ORD

and always ORD > clutch braking

also, fiy, only with paper tds you mainly stay out of spotting range

and even with them you keep in touch with your 2nd line to support pushes directly if needed

heavy armored tds require a brawling playstyle. which is not as easy as one thinks. imagine brawling with a heavy without turret

therefor i wouldnt recommend playing amored tds unless you know how brawling with heavies works

if u want to snipe from the back

swedish tds are perfect for that

or maybe the german paper td line with grille 15 on top

(although grille 15, bc it has decent mobility plays maybe 20% like a medium)

nobody will trash talk you for staying in the back with them because that is how they have to be played

the uk paper td line with fv4005 on top is a mixture between tds and mediums and requires the adequate playstyle. which is also too special for beginners

I would go for BIA+repairs+gun handling skills. And sixth sense of course. Remove cammo asap :)

Hello,

For this kind of tank, even if it is a td, I would take camo after at least some repairs.

If you really want both, then drop brothers in arms, but once you are starting your 4th skill, the composition should look like:

Commander 6th sense, bia, repairs, camo (or recon if you want more view range)

Gunner  bia, repairs, snap shot, camo

Driver bia, repairs, smooth ride, camo

Radio operator bia, repairs, situational awareness, camo

Loader bia, repairs, safe stowage, camo

Loader bia, repairs, adrenaline rush, camo

Something like this. In my opinion, while your crew still has only 3 crew members, I would value repairs and camo more than specific skills, other than 6th sense. So I would take repairs + camo rather than repairs + snap shot, for example. This is debatable, though, since the tank has rather poor camo rating, even for a td, since it used to be a heavy, back when I was not even playing the game.

I do fancy a gun laying drive though on this tank.

Have fun !
