WoT v1.0 brings all sorts of newly deformable and movable world objects, are those visible to other players?  Especially the dreaded Arty players on the Red Team?

 

ps, short answer is no, the new movable Havok world objects are client based. 

While you can see them destroyed from above at any range, no movement information from unseen enemy tanks is applied to them.

That being said, arty tracers are incredibly bright now, don't forget to shoot & scoot!

I had asked such a question before but glad to know someone doesn't care about others think about the class and caters content for it.

 

Scoot and shoot is something I do naturally, so no behaviour changes are required from me.

Hey tankers. Thanks for checking this out. I wonder if you can also spot tracers from unspotted regular tanks, like base camping TDs when in godmode on arty?

Tracers have been very bright in the past too though and were toned down. We'll see what actually goes live.

That's in the 2nd video in the top post, the answer is no, you cannot see any tracers from unspotted tanks.

I would like to see a video on where the origin of the tracer is in 1.0.  Prior to 1.0 the tracer originated from the breach of the gun (about the middle of the arty) but that doesnt seem to be the case now.  I am having a lot of difficulty playing counter arty in 1.0...not getting the kills I did pre 1.0.  I would be glad to help someone to do this study with me.
