Ok I think you all know why i posted this

Lets see the replies I get,

ARTY PARTY

Oddly enough it does require some small skill which I was highly dissapointed to realise.

Recently I have attained a new level of crapulance, I generally play one handed. I simply love arty, I can, eat a sandwich, make phone calls, open beers and have a cigarette and all manor of things whilst being a clicker.

I think one of the most enjoyable aspects of arty is i can click boom someone regardless of their skill level. its the perfect antidote for the stressfull and intensive games.

the fact arty and arty players get so much hate from cry babies makes it all the more enjoyable.

People who whine about it should try it, it really is fun defeating a camper.I am dispensing justice :P

I'm thinking of getting an arty as my 3rd tier 10 just to annoy the haters is the french one any good?

Who else loves arty and all the whine / cry posts it produces...

If i get arty'd its almost always my fault.. I press escape and go to the garage end of story....

anyone else love arty?

I made this when they took away the platoon ability of arty. The campaign worked!

Yeah, I know I can't take credit for WG to reintroduce arty in toons, but I like to think I helped:trollface:

1) You don't defeat anyone in arty, you just shoot at them. It's like saying hunter with rifle defeats deer.

2) Usually most active players suffer from arty, those who are on first front line. Campers always die last.

Let the floodgates open....

At a guess there will be a 10 to 1 ratio of detractors to proponents.

BTW I am a proponent.:)

Firstly, who do people refer to arty as SPGs? Because tanks also have self propelled guns.

Anyways. I hate arty. They don't have to hit you to ruin your day & splash/stun is nothing more than rewarding the inability to hit your target. It's even more annoying when your up close to the side of a cliff wall. The enemy arty is on the other side. You know your safe, yet arty can up & over. Death from above so to speak repeatedly.

Arty are a tactic destroyer. You can't hide from them. They will damage you, weaken you or immobilise you by hitting the rock your hiding behind or the roof of a house your snugged up close too.
Also, Platooned arty was removed for a big reason. There's some software you can buy that allows you to play multiple instances of a game & synchronised to your mouse, keyboard. So basically you could play on 3 wot accounts at the same time. Pointless when playing tanks because you'd end up getting one stuck behind a rock & other practicalities that are obvious. But Arty don't move, they just aim & fire. And having 3 synchronised under your control ruined games. That's what I was told why platoon arty was removed.

I relocate in my arty quite often.as it allows me to attack enemies from unusual angles.
Also arty is not 100% accurate so the splash is not to do with an inability to aim.

Get an arty and you will see what I mean.it's not as noob as you think.

And as for rifles defeating deer that's exactly what they do.

So who would you like to be more, hunter or deer?

Don't answer, i already know it. Just try to imagine how it feels to be deer. You probably understand, it's not so fun.

I think being a deer is probably great.you don't need to have a job or pay bills. And the likelyhood of being shot by a hunter is pretty low.In this eventuality you probably wouldn't even know.

I should know I have shot many deer and elk

There's software you can buy to 'help' you play the game? Hm, that doesn't sound entirely legit. Got a replay?

I always considered that rifle hunting is for pussies unless done for sustenance. On the other hand I eat meat/animals that someone else has killed.

One of my favourite things in arty is when I'm playing the Bishop and it is possible to hit a tank who is tight to a rock, or house, any usually secure location. Very often the turret keeps turning, in a sort of quaint and amusing way upon every hit, almost like they are trying to see where they're being shot from!

I ate or gave away everything I shot.

There would be no point otherwise.

If you eat meat and you never killed an animal then not only are you the pussy. But also a hypocritic.
