For the French:
Pan-Pan aka Panhard 35 aka Panhard 178. (25mm SA 35)
Panhard AML (90mm F1 gun)
Panhard EBR (8 wheeler middle two wheels could be raised for faster operation on solid ground. Goes backwards as fast as forward (The back is the same as the front) comes with 90mm F1 or 75mm SA49 possible autoloader.)

US:

T27 (37mm M3)
M8 Greyhound (37mm M6)
T17 Deerhound T17E1 Staghound (37mm M6. Actually used by British and Commonwealth forces and not the US. Developed into Greyhound)

M38 Wolfhound (37mm M6, developed from greyhound)

UK/Commonwealth:

Marmon-Herrington Armoured Car (2pdr)
Daimler Armoured Car (2 pdr gun)

Coventry armoured car (2pdr, 6pdr)
Alvis Saladin (76mm L5A1)
AEC armoured car Mk1-3 (2pdr, 6pdr, 75mm)

Rhino (Canada, 2pdr)

RU:

BA-11 (45mm)

BA-27 (37mm)

Sweeden:

Landsverk L-180 (Bofors 37mm cannon)

Pansarbil m/39 lynx (Bofors 20mm)

Italy (Hey they are being added):

Fiat-Ansaldo (20mm auto cannon)

I've ignored scout cars as light machine guns on mid to late war vehicles isn't useful for WOT

The slowest of those vehicles goes up to 55km/h. Reaching the 100 klicks per hour barrier sounds like a serious no-no in WoT.

But I'd love to see how that would work :)

Germany:

Sd.Kfz. 222, Leichter Panzerspähwagen, 20mm gun

Sd.Kfz. 232, Schwerer Panzerspähwagen, 20mm gun.

Sd.Kfz. 234 has at least three viable variants with a 20, 50 and 75mm gun (234/1, 234/2 and 234/2 respectively). Faster than the 232.

Steyr ADGZ is yet another 20mm-armed armoured car; though Austrian-produced.

Not really sure what role armoured cars are supposed to fill. Maybe low-tier light-substitutes, given the relative lack of meaning to 'light tanks' >T4. 234/2 and 234/3 should fill T4 and T5 well enough. Then you could start on halftracks; there's at least one that might fit T6 (Sd.Kfz.9 with 88 FlaK mounted), gameplay-wise they could lead to e.g. the Sturer Emil. Gun on tracks is gun on tracks, despite the speed difference.

Heck, you could probably make a decent halftrack-line from T2 up to the (likely) T6 Sd.Kfz.9 by the Sd.Kfz. 250 variants alone.

Cheers.  I'm not particularly knowlegable about the German ones for some reason.

Seeing as they ruined scouting, cars could potentially fill that role.

But there is no space in current maps for that so...

That Simms would be well OP - like where are the frontal weak spots? Be serious now Tacticus!

Might work for the British line very well though, I see a perfect place for a few buns, teapot and nice cup of tea.

That would be and interesting tank to see. And one I've always wanted here. That's basically an AMX 13 90 with wheels on it. Would it work? Well the WWI mode shows it's possible even in the WOT meta vs tracks. But the balance mind set on mobility needs to be different. As that mode showed some flaws vs the physics ofc. But easy to iron out I suspect.

WG said that mode was a test. But little has been heard since. Not something asked in Q&A's anymore either.

I like the overall idea but I’m not sure just how many vehicles can fit into the gameplay. Besides the post-war French they really weren’t designed, in general, to fight other armoured vehicles.

Wg have earlier stated that there would only be tracked vehicles in WoT. So I guess that none are WoT material ;)

Yeah, most were recon vehicles, armed with nothing more than smoke grenades and machine-guns

The Panhard cars are really the only viable ones for mid-tiers, though there are a couple that could mount 75mm/76mm that could at a stretch push to tier 7.

There are another couple of options out there, like a Brasillian one, built to replace their greyhounds, but even that used a Panhard turret

+1

Also, can you imagine playing what would effectively be gimped light tanks, that effectively are gimped meds, in the armor meta?

Did anyone ever produce an armoured unicycle.

Because if they did I'd get it in a heart beat.

They tried: http://blog.modernme...ted-by-one-man/

And than there is the German Kugelpanzer of course.

Both are more like tricycles though.
