I have noticed recently a ton of 44-45% wr accounts that are not bots but actually players who play the game. Every battle I see 2-3 of them and they talk back and are real humans when previously those win rates were reserved only for true bots. There are many of them and it seems like the overal bottom of the possible skill levels has dropped in Wot.

You make it sound like you are disappointed to have new players to shoot? The game needs new players, the hype about the 1.0 patch is getting them back into the game, and it wouldn't exist if it hadn't attracted them over the years, so don't deride them, they are doing their best.

Wrong. The line between bots and just horribly bad human players always was very thin. There are even many human players who play WORSE than bots.

Wrong.  I know real people who played all their battles, mostly in platoon, with those win rates.

If that's true then these bad players will start to win more so you won't need to stress over them so much.

No I am playing support tanks lately so despite heaving learned a lot and improving a lot it's hard to play them when the teams are basically disabled in their brains. So either we steamroll and I get no spots or we get steamrolled and I get no spots. Fun.

No they won't. The variance will grow bigger. Best players will win more and worst will loose more.

You make it sound like you are the only player that's playing 'support' tanks? Don't you think those players you want to criticise also play tanks that sit passively doing spotting or suicide scouting?

I don't say I'm the only player playing support tanks. All I am saying current  meta is very bad for support tanks and those players hurt support tank players no matter if they play support or brawling tanks. All I care is the bottom level of play has went down and is having a party in crazy town. I have been playing this game for a long time. I have recently improved a lot and it is impossible to be consistent in some tanks. I win 60% of my games in my elc even but I cannot get enough dmg for marks because the tank can only support. Even in a bc12t I could probably carry more but in a pure support tank I am screwed.

Seriously I know whine threads are bad and people complain about [edited]but I have never experienced something like this.

Getting marks in your tank is vs other players in  the same tank. You cant get marks because you arent good enough, your lack of skill has nothing to do with your team mates.

I've said it several times if its sub 47% after a say 5-6k battles then it is extremely unlikely to be a bot.

Bots aren't programmed to be terrible, at the very least they won't actively sabotage a team... if they are getting sub 47% after over 5-6k Battles then they are far more likely to be a person because only a person could sabotage their team that badly, red lining in a top tier Heavy, team killing, blocking etc... these are all required to maintain a consistent sub 47% win rate.

Think about it this way 47-53 is around the margin of error, 53+% after several thousand battles means you are trying to win and not screw your team over, sub 47% also means you have to be actively sabotaging your teams.

I'm still confused what a bot actually is now. It used to be a 3rd party program thingy and then it was just a bad player. So are we back to the program thingy or are they still just bad players or both? . Its Tomato Potato Sprout Cabbage Banana again. :deer:

My pick would be the gold-spam.

Noob-friendly armored tanks are not as armored as they might think. So, being a top tier they a bigger disadvantage for their team.

Thats rude dude.

I'm playing like a bot in lots of tier 10 meds and yet i NEVER sabotage my team, nor do i red line anything.

Lately i have found out that i really like td and i dont even red line in those.

And yet my wr is below 50...

I know player thats bit better than me and have 2x better win8. part of his secret is as soon as he doesnt succeed he leaves.

When i dont succeed - i continue even if it means table gets hurt badly...

Yea, well... WR talks triggers me cause i would prefer to have overall wr arround 60%. Instead I feel like a bot often...

Sub 47% at higher tiers is not a bot or someone sabotaging their team, they are just someone who is not very good.

Most 49-50% overall players will probably play at 47% at tier 9 and 10 just because the game is harder and more is expected of them being top tier often. Someone sub 47% overall is just not very good, they are very limited in their play and decision making, meaning they make very little impact, but doesn't mean they are sabotaging their team, at least not actively.

For people sabotaging their team you are talking sub 45% at least, close to 40% is where you see bots/troll griefer sort of win rates.  A team of 15 players can often overcome a lot, even a completely useless player or a player who is actively trying to annoy other members of the team.
