Hello everyone! I have a dilemma...should i sell my tier 6 tank to advance to tier 7? I mentioned i started just 3 lines: first is E100 (at this moment i'm at vk 36.01h) line and the second is Patton (here i'm at M3Lee) and the third is Leopard (just PZ III here).

What do you think? (i have 800 battles).

Sell VK 36.01H and don't buy Tiger 1 for now.....that's not the best line for a beginner (don't repeat my mistake!). Keep playing the Patton line, or alternatively start the Obj. 140 line.

Get past the Lee, the Sherman is MUCH better. Tiger I is not that bad.

Sell them. That's what i did when i was farming my first lines. You barely have any funds anyway so you're pretty much forced to do that. From my point of view there are no tier 6 keepers on those lines anyway. From those three i wouldn't recommend going for the Leo just yet. It's not that bad, i find it comfortable to drive on the map but it's pretty difficult to make it effective on the current maps and meta. There are better MT's or even LT's who can be painfully annoying to deal with when you're in a Leo.

Patton is good, decent tank and very good gun. I would say that it's a more than proper platform to train in.

E100 is quirky but probably good enough to learn better about angling and pacing yourself while aiming, shooting and ammo options. As well a rough bully capable to take some hits and stop lower tier enemy pushes in their tracks.

Depends on how comfortable you feel playing them. There's no "end game" to be reached by going up the tiers. If you have fun playing your tier 6 and feel like you're improving, just stick to it for a while, train your crew and get used to maps, locations, enemy tanks and meta. Every tier you move up the game will get harder and you're more likely to meet better players. If you just blindly move up the tiers you'll only get frustrated.

Yes i would sell it and move up to the next tank.

you can always buy it back if you liked it that much when you hit the tier 10 in the line.

I try not to play to many games in elited vehicles, as feel its better to progress up the tiers

1) Do you want to keep playing your tier 6?

- (no): sell it

- (yes): go to step 2

2) Do you have enough funds to buy the tier 7?

- (yes): but the tier 7, keep the tier 6

- (no): go to step 3

3) These are your options:

- Sell tier 6 after all and buy tier 7 tank (you can always rebuy the tier 6 later)

- Wait with buying the tier 7, until you have enough funds

One more thing, no matter whether you keep the tier 6 or not: Transfer your tier 6 crew to your new tier 7 tank!

The higher you get tierwise, the more important a good crew with skills will become.

Edit: one more thing, with your low battle count, you might wanna stick to tier 6 for a while and get a good crew first. You can always start grinding another tech line upto tier 6

Many make the mistake of thinking they have to get to Tier X to have fun. Just remember, even after reaching a Tier X Tank, it may not be the one you enjoy the game most in. It might be that Tier 6 that you wished you hadn't sold (you can always buy it back). I usually keep tanks where i truly enjoy the battles in them. Equally, there are tanks that i grind that I just can't get rid of fast enough.

vk36.01(H) this tier VI is sort of decent (used to be more fun as a medium). The tier VII is the iconic Tiger I, which needs a very careful playstyle to get the most out of. Do not advance too far at the start, support allied heavies, and make sure you present yourself to the enemy at the correct angle. Not an easy tank to position for a beginner.

M3 Lee - this is a particularly horrible tier IV. Sell it. The tier V M4 Sherman and both the tier VI M4s that come from it are solid and quite fun to play

Pzkw III this tier IV leads to the Pzkw III/IV. Neither are anything special. (sell both). The tier VI is the vk30.01(D) which is sort of OK ish.

Keep the vk36.01(H) and use it to grind credits and crew exp. Remember the deeper you get into this game the more important crew skills become. Check out posts by TankSchimdt about crew skills =

Depends. Tiger 1 is not a friendly beginner tank since it has no armor and is more a support heavy in some matches. But having a tier 6 is not the worst idea still. As on my NA account. I use my tier 6 for income. 3601 is not the cheapest tier 6 to run. But if you make credits on playing it. Why sell it? That and getting a get crew going at the min is not the worst idea either.

Just practice playing the support role in that tank, make credits playing it and your other low tiers to prepare you for the next tier better. And save up for the Tiger normally. Past tier 7 you really don't want to rush it. Stock Tiger is not fun, and if you don't know how to deal with half of the new targets you face with 145 pen for a bit. It's best to keep working on that pen one tier lower until you get the hang of how to best use it there.

Absolutely not, you should instead buy few tier 8 premiums, preferably heavies and start learning the high tier gaming experience.

Other than Ranked, Grand Battles, gain bonds quicker and all the Clan related stuff. There is quite a lot of "end game" stuff.

You only have 800 games. There is no need to rush, the game won't be gone in a year and as mentioned above there is no endgame. Pick a tank you are comfortable in ( preferably mid tier ) and learn the game from there. And don't concentrate on one line / nation. The more tanks i used the more i knew how to fight them.

keep playing the tanks you like until you have enough free xp to unlock at the minimum the top gun on the next tank, but preferably all the modules

at low tiers that not take too long and will help you learn the game with a better tank than going up a tier and playing stock

I would recommend leaving the tiger 1 line for now and rather follow the IS-3 line for any new player.

Otherwise consider buying a lowe to learn on/train crew and earn credits if you do insist on following the E100 route... but I still would suggest you consider following the IS-3 line instead.

I'd suggest you keep your tier6, stay at tier6 and take the opportunity, now that you have a really nice and elited tank, to improve both your crew skills and WoT skills. Gain some experience with a good tank and crew and don't be in such a rush to climb tiers believe me when I say getting a higher tier tank doesn't answer the problems you may be facing in battles.

You don't have many battles and you don't win very often so with such little experience it's probably easy to be fooled into thinking the next tier tank will be better and so your results will be better when in truth, yes the next tier tank will be better generally BUT, you will be facing even better tanks that you would not have seen yet and players that will absolutely eat you alive, no mistakes, no mercy along with a side order of "noob uninstall game!"  from teammates that would probably expect a bit more from a player at that tier. So I don't think you will gain anything from going to tier7, also, you will be going from a fully upgraded and capable tier6 to a stock and trashy tier7 so... no.

Just another note. With the 3-5-7 mm system, at tier6 this is acceptable imo. Only 3 tier8 tanks. However at tier7, for a noob, you really don't want to be cutting your teeth against 5 tier8 tanks and 3 tier 9 tanks.. without experience you gonna get blown away lol. SkorpionG, Type4, Lorraine, BatChats, T-10, AMX-30, Patriots, Lowe, Heat-54, E75, E-100, Multitude of lethal light tanks, autoloaders, TDs, hell ever tier7 has many lethal tanks like E25, Scorpion, AMX 13 57gf, AMX 13 75, T71, T29... there's just a LOT of popular tanks will make short work of you lol... hell you even see most of these tanks at tier5 and 6 but at least at tier6, it's not too many, and will last longer and learn hopefully and you just won't be completely swamped against awesome tanks, crew and players that you will at tier7, and you can imagine how much fun that gets when you have a tier8 tenk!!

Edit- It won't be fun for you and you should enjoy and have fun when playing this game:)

Play tier 6 max until 5,000 battles, then start geting tier 7s. Freexp past tier 8 entirely unless they fixed the matchmaking by then, and finally get a handful of OP tier 9s until you reach 10,000 battles. Then you can maybe, possibly get Tier 10. Maybe never. Tier 10 is diarrhea anyway.

That's not really Serious Posting but it very well could be how to get max enjoyment out of the game, from an extremely cynical point of view.

Welcome to World of Tanks!

I always sell my tanks when moving up a tier, unless there's something very special about them. Ask yourself: will you keep playing it? If not, then sell it. If you keep all your tanks most of them will have a crappy crew anyway.

You should have competent tanks at every tier, for platooning. In my case I have way too many premiums at all tiers so I don't need to keep tech tree tanks unless I like them a lot.
