Fast as the Rashan

No frontal pen

Fast reload

Fast in reverse

Shortly make it OP all around like 268 v4 :)

And put on it 170mm gun. :)

I just encountered this bad boy on Kharkov. I am aware of the difficulty in facing it down frontally- the gun (obviously) and the armour. So I tried to outflank it- in my E50 (Elite, fully trained crew, vents)

It outran me.

Just.

Backwards.

Funny thing is that jpe with 20 hp/t and 55 top speed would still be a way worse tank than 268v4 :XD Kinda makes you think abot wg rasha balance, da.

Dunno, 130 ton weight + 1k alpha would mean that it could yolo basically almost any tank that is lighter than it and kill it in a second from full HP. 1k ram damage + 1k for shooting, kek. Also 1.4k damage HE would let it act as a pseudo-Type 5 so there is that.

lets not give them ideas

Giant Jagdpanther - Yes please.

I don't even care if it's as unbalanced as the Obj. 268 4 or not.

All we need now is for Murazor to find 'authentic' drawings of a Russian Ratte and we are all set :/

It would ofc be perfectly balanced and any TVP could easily flank it while the Leo's sniped it ...

I got news for you:

Alsa: why the Ratte was even considered: the russian 1000 tonne tank design from the  1930's (never built):

So yes, ratte might see the light into this game someday, simply because Russia already has the answer to it (game balance wise by WoT)

They even got multiple russian mega-tank monstrosities...

A rule regarding tanks & russia: if you can imagine it; Russia designed it or at least gave it a shot.

There's actually no reason to put in imaginary tanks regarding Russia, because they had so many weird, odd & strange ideas + all the variants they designed, built & tested regarding to tanks that you can continue to implement even test-tanks till the tech tree fell apart by sheer numbers.

nor was Jagdpanzer E100 !!  first mention of this vehicle anywhere 2011

and e50? or e50m, e75, never more than fag packet drawings and initial design requirement, Porsche designed an external suspension unit an evolution of what he had on ferdinand, again only a paper drawing

mauschen?  pure fantasy, only maus ever existed

jagdpanther 2 nd e25?  pure paper ideas

forget most arty

I know notinh about Russian tanks but cant find a single non world of tanks related link anywhere for 705, 705a

is-7 and object 260 appear to be the same tank, just different names at different stages, but again I am happy to be corrected

and that's before you start to debate pure paper never even made it off drawing board tanks for other nations

edit, when I say drawing board I am being as loose as possible, not technical drawings, not upgrades discussed and discarded, not blueprints but pure initial concept ideas

Well, the basic designs are there. And that's more than you can say about a lot of tanks.

The various high number E tanks are indeed fake or paper only, but at least back then WG still made an effort making them feel realistic as they still felt 'real' in a sense, complete with sensible advantages & weaknesses.

The Obj 705 & 705A are very obscure designs that never made it beyond paper, because they were heavy tank designs in a period where USSR army wouldn't consider anything above 50 tons for tanks: Object 705 (and a mention of the heavier 705A) Note, russian tank sites have tons of obscure tank designs, but hard to read. Tbh, the shape just looks very impractical the moment you want to cram engines, ammo & people in it...

Object 260 is indeed the IS-7, WG just wanted moar tanks without doing much effort.

Including paper tanks/non-existent in the game is a two edged sword really. If they make sense & are used to fill gaps in the tech tree, why not (hence I'm fine with the E-75 by example). When they get silly & clearly a bit too fantasy (by example having thick armor & still accelerate nicely to high speeds) then no, please don't (various  jap heavies are a good example of this)

But if there exists tank designs not yet in the game, perhaps focus on getting those in instead of resorting to very obscure napkin drawings or even fantasy tanks.

Based on above, I wouldn't mind seeing the Krokodil ingame, as it just looks like the Jagpanther design idea taken further.

That thing is the T-39, not the "1000 tonne landship". The actual weight is even listed there, being 90 tons. That thing could theoretically work as tier 7-8 on multi-turreted super-heavy line, but have fun balancing that.

THIS is the 1000 tonne tank:

Check the image below the 1000 tonne tank comment ;)

T-39 is indeed a different tank & the first  Russian 'super-tank' google gave me. And yes, both that & the 1000 ton tank are old compared to ratte, but if they'd ever got in the game, WG would make sure the old designs can fight the 'newer' ratte. (albeit not the T-39 granted, just too large difference in scale)

Edit note: aware the T-39 'only' weights 90 tons & hence the weight would fall below super-tank, but the looks on the other hand would qualify it (albeit not for a ratte-equal granted, that's a whole dufferent scale), not to mention that 'heavy tanks' in that era weighted far less (T-35 was a heavy tank in its day, despite weighting 45 tons). And yus, sensible balancing would put it at Tier 7-8, but my faith in WG & sensible balancing tanks has gone out the window really.

Multi turret tanks would be fun tho if they could implement it sensibly (still suspecting that the 2017 halloween event was a test for multi-turret support & to locate possible issues with it)

Also, an interesting tidbit, the russian 1000 tonne tank design & the ratte tank design were designed by the same person. When russians figured out he was a bit too much in cuckooland with super-tank designs, they kicked him out; but the germans loved his ideas, so they got him in.

Oh, I thought that you thought that pic of T-39 is the 1000 ton tank...because there isnt a image below the 1000 tank comment for me :amazed:

AFAIK super-heavy classification is +80 tons and that thing as itself fits very well a definition of super-heavy tank (its big and massive and for its time period, is definitely a super-heavy; the FCM 2C, which was smaller, is considered as a super-heavy in certain sources), so I refer that as super-heavy. There are also other such super-heavy designs...like the T-42.
