ion thrusters on p-43 bis and ter

information has leaked about the p-43 bis and ter being powered by ion thrusters clearly visible at the back.

EDIT: this explains why the tier 7 has a better engine power than the tier 8, which has no ion thusters.

Well ion thrusters are supposed to give very poor thrust which builds up over time, meaning they will still be able to outpace Brit lights and mediums.

you're right, they look just the same. the funny part is hyperjets (scramjets?) don't work in space, and ion thrusters provide too little thrust to overcome friction and gravity (so they're only used in space to move withing an orbit)

This new technology is so...fascinating. Like the Romulan cloaking devices you can spot some players using.. well, not actually 'spot' as such if you know what I mean... :P
