First thing I want to suggest is better Immersion to the game.

Look at the PS4 version of world of tanks:

First of, I'm aware the developers are planning to update the graphics in the PC version, but what I ask is more depth to the fell.

Like example the screen shakes when you make a shot, or you see your gun while in zoom mode.

Some of you dont like it, but there are some players who would love that for the sake for immersion.

1. People(me) would remove that screen shake cause it just gets in the way of focus.

2. People(me) would just remove the visible gun in sniper mode, cause its in the way and again steals focus.

3. Im sure someone can mod this stuff in

I don't remember which of the highlighted settings makes the screen shake, I turned them off that long ago. Which is what many people will do because while immersion is good, unintended motion that takes your reticle away from your target in an arcade-focused shooting game isn't as popular. Point is, if you're going to suggest "improvements" it's a good idea to check whether they're actually in the game already.

It's dynamic camera, and it's awful.

The, 'Immersion', I'd like to see on/in WoT, would be Oculus Rift compatible.

WoT using VR would be superb.

They have it on PC. But it's off by default. As no one likes it, and most don't use it. Just like the green tint in sniper mode. And when only a few want it on PC, or would use it. Why waste time and effort making more of it? Console peasants have it... because they can't turn it off.

About the only immersion I'd want on stock PC WoT is some of the sound effects from console. Way more immersive. Though, the track clatter sounds like someone recorded a assembly line rather than a tank.

Until you roll your light tank at 60 km/h.

Yeah, that could be dizzying.

The PC version looks far more warlike and realistic, but a byproduct of this is a lack of flashiness. The PS4 version not only looks sharper and brighter, but the sound effects are absolutely incredible. Many tanks on the PC make an embarrassing "put" sound when they fire whereas the console tanks sound like they're unleashing armageddon. A rapid-firing Matilda is ear-porn.

I think that many people probably play on potato computers, and some of us have high end ones, I find pc on high end graphics great.

Don't think seeing your barrel will add to immersion.. unless we are talking about open top tanks.

I would welcome immersion through a tad more realistic approach to mechanics, though....

EDIT: like having shells actually fly out of the said barrel....

I actualy have a pretty powerfull PC with NVIDIA GTX 1060 and I7-7700 Processor, I run all graphics on ultra settings and it runs smoothly 60 FPS. I just wanted to point out that for me as someone who always played games on PC that It's unfair that consoles have better looking graphics and better immersion overall than on PC.

Many of you would say "Then buy console" but the thing is I dont want to waste my time adapting to it so I find consoles a waste of time when you already have a pretty good PC on your hands and you already mastered It's controls already.

I might sound biased and wrong, but It's obvious that PC's nowadays are more superior to consoles, consoles we're popular at past, but people realised that PC is far superior because it allows more options and It's less limited than consoles. It makes me lose braincells when developers still stuck on the "Consoles are better" mindest and try to make highly advanced games on consoles.

You do know that we're getting a whole new game engine with highly upgraded graphics and sounds literally next patch?

No it's not. I enabled it a few days ago and i like it, tanks dont feel like toys now because the screen shake from gun recoil actually looks realistic

Zorg's Modshop - Gnomefather's Historical Realism Gun Sounds

Can also be found on the official mod hub. Completely changes the game for me. No put-put tanks with this mod.
