It appears that wargaming devs are unable to fix a god damn bug even i reported this some time ago.

 http://forum.worldof...6#entry15042816

They just moved'it and forgot about it. Meanwhile this sound bug repeteadly affected me but they just dont care.

Do something with this. you did not asked me even for a directx diag report. or you just hope to go away by itself !

Fair chance they can't be arsed to fix stuff when there's a new engine coming in about a week.

I don't blame them, though as always they could've done a heck of lot better trying to communicate this stuff.

Yes, this bug is not from last week, its been around a while. They just don't Edited about players. An interested staff should have asked for DX diag file from the beginning.

AFAIK it's a Wwise bug and WG were waiting on Wwise to fix it.

Does seem to be taking a lot of fixing though.  And I believe it has been reported on the 1.0 test too.

Never had this issue, could be that it's just not THAT widespread to warrant as much attention as some think.. Not saying they should ignore it completely, just that you gotta prioritise.

It seemed to happen less for me for a while. Now it's happening pretty much every 4 or 5 games again. Really annoying. Some communication about what's going on would be nice. But wg eu and communication...

Kind of a classic one that communication on an issue is halted because the responsible party, whether internal or external, fails to communicate. Hopefully they'll figure out how to turn off surround sound or something to prevent the bug; seems to do the trick for most.

Hm, communication issues. Let's look up the Wwise developer. Audiokinetic.

Well, Canadian, that should be g-

But this is Wargaming and their fixes tend to come with new bugs, so perhaps it's for our best to just take the short way around. :harp:

And then of course we have the old friends and chat issues. Soon to be resolved, I assume.

Really Edited annoying and changing settings doesn’t work either. Always have to restart, same thing for a mate, while others never had it. What was the root cause did you say? Wvise? What’s that?

Wwise is a sound engine. it's a platform that allows game developers to develop and implement audio for their games. (massive oversimplification, but if you really want to know details, google is your friend.)

Let's check something, page what was it?  Ahh yes, page 64 on that perennial favourite "How to motivate people to do what you want".

Yes, yes OP is right chapter 5 clearly says in caps and bold type (underlined of course) you definitely must act like a complete tool, swear and jump up and down and must never forget to spit your dummy out.

Shame that, I thought dogged politeness was the way to get what you wanted.  Shucks I've been taught wrong.

It started in October IIRC, I experienced it a couple of times playing the Halloween mode on my laptop and a few times on my desktop playing WoWP (though I'm not even sure WoWP uses the same sound engine).

It was known about during common test of whatever patch we got around that time.  Quite widely reported on the Russian forum at the time.

I had this sound bug towards the end of last year and changing to this option in the settings fixed the issue.

Weird thing is that I had this bug a few times just after which ever patch started it off, but since then nothing. Apart from updating the game I've changed nothing with my set up.

I had this happening to me all the time whenever I entered the first battle of the day and restarting game would not help. Then I switched to 2.0/2.1 speaker and everything is fine since.
