Type 64 might be the choice for you

+mounts stabilizer at t6

+390m view range

+decent gold rounds, though not always needed

+decent camo (with camo crew + paint)

+10 degrees of gun depression, even though it's Chinese

-fragile

Abuse that camouflage and wreck enemies unseen! Also spot without getting spotted.

There might be others, I just gave you the first thing in my mind, since I also love it so much.

Have fun!

Im to lazy to look at your stats and to find out what playstyle you prefer.

-> So, say yourself what tank do you like to play and no, not every med has the same playstyle! say it yourself: what tank do you like to play!

Cromwel B (when it comes to sale), Lor tier 8 french premium med (when it comes to sale), type 64, t-54 mod 1.

Also E25 on new year sale (usually for one day)

EDIT: you can read reviews on those, they will tell you why. You wont regret it.

EDIT2: that t-54 mod 1 was recently buffed. WELL buffed.

Probably type 64 is for you! It’s a tank you can consistently be really annoying to other players in. Can’t really say any tier 8 is enjoyable after a bad day with current mm.

Get one that trains a crew that matters.

Obviously a tier 8 gives you the most xp & profit.
But the tier 8 mm is totally screwed right now!

However, my immediate choice would be a Crommy B when it is next on sale.
The other 2 really strong tier 6's are the T34-85M & Type 64, which are both excellent.

The Panther/M10 at tier 7 is excellent at the moment.
I really enjoy mine.
It is very strong!
Though it has preferential mm at the moment, which will likely mean it is re-balanced at some point?
Though I would be surprised if that happens any time this year.

Tier 8 lights;
Have no plans to get the ELC Even myself personally, but I have the T92 & M41 90 GF.
Both are nice, but I think I prefer the M41 90 GF out of the 2.
The HEP that the M41 has is fantastic used correctly!

Though talking about lights, I got myself a Locust a little while back.
Love it!

Tier 8 meds;
T54 1st Prot is really strong! Tho I do not have it.
T44/100 is very good.
FV4202 is fantastic on fairgrounds, really like it.
The list go's on, but I suggest you check out reviews from YouTuber's like Quickybaby & Circonflexes to get a better idea of those!

Good luck!

P.S. You will never regret getting a Crommy B...

I hear WG listens to us players, so how is it the current tier 8 MM is so unbalanced still? For a good medium, The Cromwell B, The Thunderbolt, even the AC4 experimental or whatever it is, those are good tanks.

To be fair they did add weakspots on the frontal hull armour of type 5, so now you got like 30-40% chance to pen the two tiny spots with standard ammo of tier 10’’s and like 65-85% with gold ammo! See! Wg listens!

Cromwell B, Type 64, AMX 13-57GF (unlikely to be sold), Type 62, Panther M10, Lorraine 40t, T-34-85M and Rudy I'd say are the strongest premium meds/lights around.

EVEN 90 and T92 can be fun, but are not that competitive.

T-44-100 is very good now but not worth the price they make you pay. M4 Rev is a solid choice but not really a light/medium tank in terms of mobility, it's more a mobile support TD than a proper fast medium tank. Primo Victoria is also solid, good turret armour, good pen, good gun depression, though again a big medium rather than a super mobile one.

Pudel also looks pretty solid, because it's basically a historical Panther on tier 6.  Thunderbolt is also pretty good.

The concept of 'crap' is highly subjective.

One man's garbage is another's treasure.

Having said that, i don't see you do well in the Skorpion G, so i can't recommend anything paper-ish.

So, Defender/252U.

Mostly because you don't seem to do well in lightly armored stuff, and you want something relaxing.

Why recommend something like Defender when he cant get it?

Besides, all tanks (including Skorpion G) needs skill to be played well.

AMX CDC. Very mobile medium with good cannon. Not much arnor thus plays kind like a sluggish light that has big boomstick instead of camo ability.

All the worthwhile premiums lights are not being sold with the exception of the Type64.

M41 90GF

Type 62

AMX 13 57F

As for mediums:

Lorraine40t is a good one

Overbuffed T-44-100 and T54 1st Prot are now quite good

Rest is not really worth it unless you specifically are looking for a certain nation.

Cobra 6

True that, i really liked to play FV201 (A45) which is by all accounts an utter garbage, but I really like this tank for what it is.
