Is this tanks worth the price, since its up for a grab at the moment?

Whats its credit earnings, carrying potential and general fun level?

I havent yet played the centurion. I know they are twins but if you just try to compare it to the cent. it wont help it for me to get my answer.

Yes it is, great tank. Fun to play and pretty good too. Alpha is lower than rest, but not that noticeable since it's only by 10. 230 alpha and 240 feel basically the same. Makes great credits too, watch some games of it on YouTube and see if it's for you, keep in mind it's not a great crew trainer as afaik you can only use the Sabaton crew in it

I don't think it's a bad tank but it's a rather pointless one since the Swedes don't have any high tiered meds, I think.

it's the highest tier med for the Swedish itself, but even if that wasn't the case you can only use Sabaton crew

I've missed that part. If that's so then I'll upgrade my "rather useless" to "more then rather useless". :P

I assume the non skinned STRV 81 can train crews normally, but as far as I know it's yet to be sold on EU

Yet despite that it's a solid credit maker and surprisingly fun to play.

So if someone just wants a credit grinder that doesnt feel completely gimped in T10 mm it's not a bad choice.

Own it. Like it. Turret is bouncy but hide that fat body cuz that's paper. Dont have to press the 2 key often so for me it makes nice credits. As others have said it's a bad crew trainer, but I use it as a xp collector to convert to freexp at a later time.

That is not true, you can use any Swedish medium crew in it like any other premium. My Sabaoton crew are in the garage because I have 6 skill girl crew in the tank that was previously on the Kranvagn that I sold.

I havent yet played the centurion. I know they are twins but if you just try to compare it to the cent. it wont help it for me to get my answer.

It's solid enough, it's essentially a Patriot that trades hull armour for more mobility. It's got a very good turret for a tier 8, decent penetration, view range, gun depression and good mobility. Alpha is low, DPM is not great but ok and the gun handling leaves a lot to be desired but fully aimed is accurate.

It is also important to remember the standard pen is APCR, so whilst you get better shell velocity, the Cent 1's standard AP round is actually going to pen stuff better.

Plus it comes with the Sabaton crew who have BIA already trained, can't remember if it's for free.

But there are also no Swedish high tier mediums at the moment so it's not a great crew trainer.

I have to say Yes. Great tank, I love the way the Cents look moving over the ground.

But wait for SearchWarrents review of Tier 8 Premiums.... he'll hate it :)

They did however mention that they are looking into extending the mediums for the Swedish tech tree, in some Q&A they had. When or if that is happening I have no idea about though.

Its just the hairstyles that put me off not to mention the lurid paint scheme.

Why cant we have an some classic rock tanks, 50's bebop Jazz tank and maybe an 80's new romantic tank.

I don't know why it doesn't get the Type B barrel like in the video clip, though.

Not a bad tank. I like it, reasonably accurate gun, nice gun depression and the turret can bounce quite often.

However in the current MM you will be matched against tier Xs all the time and then it becomes a bit paperlike. I bought it mostly for fun, because it looks good and the Sabaton crew and voices. Which is kinda cool. And you can't train crews in it very well, since Swedes don't have high tier meds. So it is a) for fun b) for credit. If you want credits, I would rather buy some well armored heavy tank instead of P. Victoria.

hm they may have changed that then, that's how it used to be, at work so I'll have to fiddle with mine when I get home and see

Looks better on paper than it actually performs. I 3 marked it with something like 1700 dpg .... which for me is shameful.

Also, you won't make credits with it. 500+ credits for one shell, double of what it cost for CDC or Patriot and has lower alpha.

Nice looking tank tho ... I'm not so sorry to have bought it.

I havent got it. dont want it ether.

its got things going for it. unlike FV4202, like a turret that actually bounces something. more dpm and upper hull can troll bounce some unlike the garbage 50 that FV has. mediums are in a bad spot at tier 8. you need something to deal with tier 10 and the turret is pretty solid at least, wouldent buy it personally becuase its a tier 8 medium, that alone is good enough reason not to.
