Update 1.0 – New Glacier Map

I'm honestly quite looking forward to this map as I'm a sucker for snow.
The only thing I am hoping for is that you didn't make all those lovely hills so smooth in gradient that we get hull-down IS-3's on all key map locations all the time, for balancing purposes it's important to also have areas that tanks which are balanced on gun depression (-8 or more degrees) have exclusive use of.

Its an interesting map I certainly enjoyed playing my light tanks on it.
Not explored it all by any means but I would say its sparse when it comes to soft cover but lots of hard cover for flanking peek and shoot, sidescraping and so on.
Its also not so hard on the eyes when there is lots of pure white snow as well as snow on trees it gives me problems.

It's very far from a stupid comment. If the maps are sanitised, so as tanks with 5' of gun depression can use pretty much every spot. What is the point of tanks with more gun depression. Maps should be built so that all tanks can exploit their strengths. Not homogeneous maps that stock Russian heavy #1 can do well from in all positions.

from Sweden??? i thought it was from Finland.... by the way does the ice in this map makes the tank slide ??? that would be so cool
and another thing why WoT development team is obligated to bring maps from countries which have tech trees??? war happened everywhere what is this idiotic approach?

Article on the webiste could written better. Now it is bland and humorless. I could do it better.
Although, very nice to see something from WOWS in this game. Are you putting recognizable sip models in the map ? (f.e Shchors, Blyskawica.)

i believe this is another flat camping map with no intense action or gameplay.pls make more city maps & remove arty from the game.

I have long waited for a glorious Swedish map. I envisioned a landscape with beautiful curves and generous thick foliage. Now I see a piece of coast of the kind that is nowhere to be found on Swedish soil. Sad.

Finally map that looks decent but i wont be sure until i try it.Only their recent grand battle maps was decent rest of them without idea but this one looks good.
Now just remove Paris and fix Kharkov and Stalingrad and everything will be fine ![]()

Lol make more city maps.This is not pacman go play something else if u cant deal with game mechanics of this game so u need corridor where u can only shot at targets in front of your self and u dont have to worrie about arty tds or meds flanking u.

Great looking map guys well done! But Sweden it aint! Iceland, hotsprings and gaysers. Have not seen that in Sweden! ![]()

Well, I played it Yesterday on the test server and you know what? I really liked it, big open areas you can use with your light tank to spot and put sideshots in.
One drawback that needs correcting:
- The entrance going up to the broken carrier feels like its currently aimed at one base, this means they have an easier time preventing the other team from getting up. Entrance and ramp should both point in between the bases, not towards the right one (looking at the minimap). I know it seems like that on the minimap but it felt it was not when playing, maybe because the walls are lower on one side?
