Hello Tankers,

So yesterday was the day of my country's Patron St.Patrick and I played  a few games in the morning, then in the afternoon Ireland played England in the Rugby, I went down to the local Rugby club and had about 6 pints ( all before 6pm) , came home, played a few games before tea - by god I was terribad,I can barely remember the games but I know they were quick no matter what Tank I drove as all I wanted to do was to fire my gun - me being full of Euphoria.

Sorry to anyone who was in my team - sincerest apologies , I was about as useful as a third nipple.   Personally a lesson learned - there is a tipping point where by I might as well not play at all.

So in all honesty folks, have you ever done the same ? Do you have any drunken stories to share ? If not then fell free to rant about MM or Arty - in any of the PINNED threads.

Cheers

Shane

Nothing to apologize for, you were simply playing to the spirit of the game. Now come join the Sunday madness and feel like a super unicum no matter how bad you do.

Na, I don't drink, so can't get drunk (and I don't do any other drugs either). But I have a stroke of bad play from time to time and it isn't happiness inducing.

most likely you were more useful on the battlefield while drunk, than 50% of playerbase anyway, so no harm done :D

I can only suggest you do what I do, play with a few like minded friends on TS, platoon up and just have a laugh, do dumb things , have fun and laugh at each others misfortunes, usually whilst having a few beers.

The game is fun then, although I will admit to getting pissed off with the constant 3-5-7 crap which makes me want to quit too, but then we all just have a laugh anyway!

So you played some video game drunk. You sir, are an absolute monster! I don't know how you can ever show your face in public again tbh. On the non sarcastic flip side of that, get a grip man! it's just computer game and play it any which way you like in any condition you like. I was heavily under the influence of the effects of high levels of Guinness consumption myself last night and I played this game. Didn't care if put a burden on my teams, goes for a change, I've suffered enough garbage teammates myself over time. Sometimes I just like to load up with a derp, press the W key and drool down my shirt giggling like a mental patient. I'm strongly considering getting wrecked again this evening. :great:

I've started playing EvE Online recently lol. With WoT, ya, it's an arcade style game soaked heavily in RNG with constant threads and reports of fixed MM and fixed teams etc etc etc so there's a lot to be said for playing this game with a lackadaisical "meh" attitude. I don't think any of us should get worked up about the results of a game where results are so open to influences outside of our control. If WG want players to take this game "serious" then it needs to be a serious game to begin with, it's not, it's arcade and RNG. So as long as that is the games presentation and offering, play it any which way you guys want to would be my attitude. You shoot at what your aiming, it may or may not hit, it may or may not pen, it may or may not do such amounts of damage. We all see it, we all see shot head for what's clearly predetermined parts of a tank, either troll auto-bounce or LOL 1 pixel where the shot could possible pen and it does and hits for laughable amounts of dmg and crew kills. This game should not be taken seriously as such. :)

I left a clan because the leader became a drunken [edited], you cannot lead when incoherent, I find that on times I do get tired as the game progress's which means my often low standards get even lower:trollface:

Thanks a lot

I dunno to be honest - you guys are pretty predictable in how you play you have some good players but I think you need to decide how "this England" are gonna go about their business .  I reckon Jones will say goodbye to a few now
