Hi all, just wanna ask few questions:

1.Which one is harder to spot (everything included perks, bushes etc...)?

2.Which one is better sniper?

3. What style is better for Leopard (sniping style 5cm gun) or (3cm autocannon agressive style )?

4.Which one is better for carrying?

5. What do you think which one can deal consistent damage overall?

Any answer will be appreciated and big thanks to everyone who participated.

(English isn't my native language so sorry for mistakes)!

They are both similar, the Leopard is just more fun with the auto cannon.

My answer to most of those questions would be T-50 and I feel confident in taking you chubby Leo boys on 1v1 fight me.

Leopard although it's utterly r@ped in the terrain resistances and turns like the Titanic on soft ground for no reason.

I don't know about the camo but if the other German lights are anything to go by around that tier, it's slightly worse than the competition.

1: With all the perks, camo net and paint etc. The T-50 will get more while stationary and moving.

2: With the 5cm gun on the Leo, they both have the same. 3cm on the Leo gives it 0.44. Even with short burst you won't hit much. And that gun can't pen anything once the range goes past 400m. As then the shell pen drops to zero mm.

3: That's down to you and what roles you like. 3cm eliminates any effective sniping and will force you do bully more by doing hit and runs due to the longer reload. And the DPM drops down by over 600 with the 3cm. But in return you have enough burst damage to deal with most lower tiers and equal tier lights. But less ideal in a 1 vs 2. Tho the weight vs other lights makes it a good ramming tool if needed.

4: Again, down to you and your style. But I would have to say T-50. More mobile to react and get around, more camo so you can even carry with assist a bit better. Dpm and pen is more or less the same as the 5cm Leo gun.

5: Depends on your style. Most can bully great with hit and runs using the 3cm Leo gun. Others can do the same with the T-50 mobility and the 45mm it has. As when you are top tier they are more or less the same. In a +2 game, damage should not be your main focus early on anyway. But they both have the ability to do it equally well mid to late game.

there is a nice feature in game, where you can compare tanks. so, for spotting etc you can check there.

however you will hardly get an accurate picture of those tanks, cause depending on you play style one or another will be better suited for you. I went with mt-25 in the end. But, it may also depend on how high you want to go in the line.
For example, I found Ru to be better t9 scout, while kept lt-100 as tier-X.

Leopard is fantastic with the autocannon.

T-50 is hands down a better tank, IMHO.

It could be because Leopard has really weird gun depression.

Leopard, because the spam cannon is really fun and while machine gunning people with the T-50 can be fun, it just doesn't compare to deleting a same tier light like the Leopard can

Probably T-50 has better camo. Leopard has a quite large silhouette

2.Which one is better sniper?

They both suck at sniping. The tanks should be played at mid to close range

3. What style is better for Leopard (sniping style 5cm gun) or (3cm autocannon agressive style )?

I find the autocannon the best gun for Leopard.

4.Which one is better for carrying?

I think the autocannon, though the dpm is lower

5. What do you think which one can deal consistent damage overall?

My opinion is that the Leopard is the most consistant damage dealer. It has some armor and can bounce some shots. The autocannon is great and has very good pen.

Step 1: Get the Leo with the Autocannon

Step 2: Buy a Spall Liner

Step 3: Train Controlled Impact on your driver

Step 4: Drive around an enemy, empty your clip in their back/side and ram them (warning: not suitable for Tier 7 Heavies)

Enjoy the Leo. And never forget: if you run out of shells, you become the shell

Leopard is basically :

1 - go and camo it up, spot (if you can make it there)

2 - if enemy light there, at under 50m, kill him and run to get despoted

3 - repeat

4 - once game goes into cleanup, go up close and personal because your 3rnds / burst is not as good at hitting than the Luchs' 2 rnds / burst, park it near heavy and open it up.

5 - if end-game, and enemy is light tank, feel free to ram

PS: Luchs fires 2 rnds/ cycle of the gun, Leopard fires 3.

If luchs lets it aim, 1st will hit, 2nd might hit.

If leopard lets it aim, 1st will hit, 2nd might hit, 3rd .... unless you are parked right next to it, it won't hit.

So in reality, Leopard/Luchs have about the same # of shells, even if it says 12 on Leopard and 8 on Luchs.

PPS: 50mm sucks, pen is way too low .... 100/130mm is just not good enough at t5.

You will need to load premium to ensure pen of the sides of a KV1.

step 5. remove spall liner and use something useful. I do recommend controlled impact but dont let absence of it prevent you from ramming.

May I ask what equip you would suggest? I'm running vents/optics/spall liner

Binos/camo net are of no use for me, they don't suit my playstyle in the leo. V-stabs and rammer are unavailable.

Next best thing (for me) would be torsion bars, wich is kind of a wasted slot tbh.

Vents, optics and binocs. First part of the game I spot, second part I go trolling. Worked like a charm for me.
