swamp was fine.  stop forcing maps that are lane and corridor driven.  this is not league of legends.  meds, arty, tds and lts are becoming harder to play because you are designing this game around heavy brawling in selected lanes.  Flank? Flank you say? where? how? you can't flank in corridor maps wg.  just do us a favor and go look at war thunder.  not the best map design but it gives you options.

This is awful! Everything is flat, the tactics used until now, goes in trash... These maps are like crapAF. I ran 3 battles and now I see the game has returned the power of TD-s. Campinovka, Campinnberg, Campodorf... crap

Some maps like Fishermans Bay and Mines are flattened a lot, rendering gun depression better than 5 degrees pointless on some key spots.

Fjords give crazy advantage for the team starting in the south-east. Once going to the mid of the map they have too easy shot throughout the whole mid-north-east section. Way too flat, with way too high sniping mid position. 

And yes, i agree with previous posters - bloody waaaaaaay to flat.

Stealth buff for tanks with low gun depression aka Russian and Chinese.... too flat. 

 

edit: the new spot on Ruinberg E-D6 between the houses is a massive joke... if you have a fast med/light tank and come from the south spawn you just drive straight in and spot everything that is on the north side field and camps the spawn. Have fun digging someone out there, GG

The new update (v1.0) has changed the maps totally and with it the balance of each map. Most maps have become flatter. A flat maps leads to camping and view range advantage. Fisherman's Bay allows the southern team to rush up to the "ridge", hide behind the new building ruins that are there and snipe the heavies from the northern team trying to get into town. The maps are way to flat and are now very unbalanced. I always say "Don't fix something that is not broken."

Erlenberg assault castle side seems completly useless. Why would anyone go there from either side? 

I like how Fjords middle is changed, but south of the map now seems useless.

Maps are too flat. Why was the center of fjords flattened? Why did you remove the side entrance to center of abbey, why so few buildings in center of fishermans bay, i could go on for a while. Graphics 10/10 but terrain (and gameplay because of that) changes are a solid 0/10. Why did you not just convert the maps to HD, all these terrain changes are completely unnecessary.

Just another nod towards the Soviet line.
I was already playing less and less due to the Soviet bias and now this patch has come along and well and truly taken the mickey.

"Here have graphics and lighting that will give you a headache, oh and enjoy the flat terrain aimed at improving Russian gameplay"

Sick to death of it now and here in Britain we are sick to death of Russians period.

Blocked off routes, more corridors, flattening the hills. You couldn't have made the maps worse even if you tried, unless this is you actually trying to ruin them. Then you succeeded.

my general opinion of the maps is that although they look good, youve ruined the gameplay aspects of a few ive played due to making them too flat. It used to be a standard joke that you were biased towards russian vehicles, its now not in doubt that you are as youve now made the maps flat to appease their vehicles with no depression.

 

What youve given to us in eye candy, youve removed in gameplay, very poor.

How the hell can you bring out such an unbalanced crap? If some tanks from the south side goes there the whole flank of the North side is lost, and we cant even do something.

GJ destroying the magic bush in E4 on Malinovka by adding a second layer of bushes. Hill campers on F7 now have a massive advantage over any tank that tries to use E4.

not had Steppes yet which seems to be the main cause of angst, but with regards Fishermans Bay, the changes have ruined it and its now 1 i would honestly think about going afk in.

 

EDIT - Erlenberg, too flat and now an absolute abortion of a map.

Why the hell did you [edited]up Abbey?  Abbey only accessible via middle road, once in you cannot escape anymore and no possibility to enter section between middle and 9 line...fail.
