Is that normal now, with 1.0?

You can always play SD client if that is too much.

39.5 here. You must have some extra tank porn!

(probably due to cluster size)

Can't you delete preload after WoT 1.0 installs? Thought I read somewhere.....

Well, I uninstalled it cause it was on my SSD and there wasn't quite enough space on it. Now I'm downloading it to another disc, but it says the latest client is 9.22. Is that true, will I have to update it after installation?

There's indeed an 'Updates' folder that may or may not be a good idea to delete.

My folder's 33GB (including a fair bit of replays), ~7GB of "updates" included. SD client.

I had the same issue but after doing some googling apparently its possible to simply copy the game files over to the new disk without having to re-download everything. I gave that a try and didn't notice any issues other than having to change my desktop icons.

I deleted all but the most recent updates in the Updates folder, that got rid of 8gb from the 41.5 mine was originally taking up

[edit] I'm sure I could probably delete the latest now that it's installed, but I'm happy enough with a 20%ish reduction anyway :)

If it bothers you you can "shrink" it down to about 35GB - go into the updates folder and delete all the old patch files that are accumulating in there :)

It won't hurt and won't damage the game. This is just the download folder for the patch files and I still don't get why WG doesn't have an automation running to also delete the files the client downloads for the update after the update is done.
