That those who are in agreement with the changes comment here, because otherwise, as always happens, the only voice heard in the forums is that of those who don't know to play. For the first time in a long time, wargaming has gotten spice up this game.

Yeah, let's tell them how awesome they were with this patch, maybe everybody will believe it, like you obviously do.

Well. I like that they've changed so many maps and there is even a new one. Feels fresh again. I also like the new tracers, which seems to be a rare case :)

Other things? Mostly I don't care or don't like :D

Indirect buff to every idiot proof tank released over the last year and also a nerf to every tank that requires some form of skill to play (ie weaker tanks thatrely on gun depression)

whats not to like...

I think the game looks lovely now,, real improvement visually but the underlying major problems still exist so people will still "observe"

I like this patch and the map changes! :-)

Also the most important thing is the maps they've removed!!! Add Paris and high tier Ensk and the map rotation will be ok again!

Rip Stalingrad, Kharkov, Windsotrm, Highway, Swamp, Pilsen!!!!, Sacred Valley. And the stupid winter versions of Himmelsdorf and Ruinberg.

I hated all those maps except swamp and highway however didn't really enjoy those either. Please remove Paris and add some cool new maps and we're good!

P.S. FIX TIER 8 MM!!!

Any decent spots on  most maps haave been removedfor use of gun depression. You now can be shot by Steve the Is-7 driver, Pavel in his Defender, and Saara (for gender equality) in her 430U from literally anywhere.

Looks better but made it worse. That's my distilled feels after a day of tanking.

So far, and of course it is early days, I like the new version.

Haven't seen some of the maps, but the ones I played on seemed pretty good.

Enjoyed Provka in a Chaffe, surfing the middle ridge got me over 2k spotting dmg.

Lakeville proved good in a Wolverine, but not so good in a Leopard.

Paris still sucks though.

Only saw the centre of Abbey, but had a good battle in Sherman E2, and only saw the town on Live Oaks.

When you cant cover the whole map it is hard to give a proper report, but from what I have seen I have been impressed.

Time will tell.

The experience for you might be different, when you drive around the T5-T8 Tanks. When you get into higher tanks the experience at least for me gets frustrating with the flattened bersion of maps.

What is said in this forum is irrelevant anyway, the only thing WG listen to is the clicking of that battle button and I wonder how many of the whiners are that bothered that they will stop clicking it.

The net effect of all the changes for me is that I feel less inclined to play the game than before. Last game I played felt like a complete non event. As the battle reached the now decisive two minute mark, and my putative allies found new and innovative places in which to be unhelpful, I basically parked up and went for a sandwich. Bacon.

Well, I'm not generally a whiner, but I have only clicked "Play" once this evening (replay uploaded - it's an Ace Tanker, but the experience was unpleasant). Will I play for the rest of the next couple of weeks or so? I might have a game - or even a few, perhaps, if I get information on how to change settings appropriately - but unless I can improve the experience by tweaking settings, no. The game's not playable at the moment, for me - and that has nothing to do with map changes, or whatever - it just looks *awful*, like a Minecraft-influenced landscape; and playing is quite unpleasant.

I might open a ticket, but I doubt Support will have anything iuseful to say. Pity.

Aren't you getting the popup at the start of every battle begging you to try out their fancy new options?

Other than that, if you try to explain what the problem is, along with what setting the game chose for you and maybe even some system specs then someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Support may be bad but you can't expect them to be mind readers.

Although if your game is looking like Minecraft then maybe you are playing Minecraft, or Roblox.  Because I can't see any way you can get WoT 1.0 to resemble Minecraft.
