With all these horrible changes to the map terrain and adding of stupid td positions i dont know how to be effective with my light tanks now. Oh and something is very wrong with bushes now because right now i had 2 games in abbey and redshire where i got shot from tds which camped only about 50-100m away from me and i could not spot them. (And i saw in a stream a weird scene where an udes could shoot a tank from like 50m without getting spotted on live oaks i think. And he didnt pull back 15m from the bush wtf) So apparently after 3 marking different light tanks from t5 to 10 i suddenly lost all my knowledge :bajan: Can some expert enlighten me how to play.

Abbey aside,  I have a feeling lights have an easier time in these new maps. At least that has been my experience so far.

In some maps extra trees and bushes are really scary if you are in a heavy tank. Mostly it just encourages camping, as seen from 1.0.

I feel Russian mediums are even stronger now than before. You can play those pretty much like light tanks anyway, they have the camo and viewrange, And armor. And firepower.

It's almost like flattening of maps benefited tanks with poor gun depression, such as Russian and Chinese tanks. Must be a coincidence.

I was just posting on the Dingers forum that there is one good thing about patch 1.0. They indirectly buffed the WZ-120 due to flatter maps and smoother hills.

Dunno...every bob and his dog pens my T-54 and Obj. 140 like there is no armor on them. I should get an Obj. 430...

I actually do pretty okay in light tanks, now that they can spot and use camo

That will be fixed in 1.01, WZ-120 gun depression will be changed to +1 degrees.

In the same patch, the top 122mm gun shared with the 113 will become unique to the vehicle, as will the top engine, shared with the wz-111 1-4.

At t8, the t-34-2 will get a dispersion changed to 0.55 to balance the fact that it has a 250mm of pen heat shell.

This will provide a much more engaging experience.

PS: 121's gun depression will also be changed to -3.

Those can get overmatched from the front with 91mm or more, and the fuel tank is an instant hit every time you get penned frontally in the hull.
