Played a few battles yesterday, and my tanks just doesn't respond as fast as they did before patch.

Now it takes a while after you have pushed your buttom before your tank starts doing whatever action you planned on doing.

My FPS is 40+ and have 20-30ms ping.

Are any of you having similar feeling?

Yep. As if driving with rubber bands between the steering and your hands. An ever so slight delay, no direct contact.

I'm experiencing the same thing and it's absolutely dreadful. Spoke to a few in-game friends about it as well - same story everywhere.

I think it's safe to assume at this point, that it's not an isolated "issue" related to latency or hardware setup. This really just seems to be the responsiveness of world of tanks after 1.0 - and it sucks tbh.

Edit: I've tried a lot of different combinations of graphic settings with no luck - and btw. I'm running well above 100fps even on ultra.

Can't say I've noticed any lag, even on the old laptop.

Provided it's not a connection problem, it kind of sounds like what happens when I turn Vsync on or some kind of overlay is on-screen with the game (like the volume control). The solution might be in the graphics driver settings rather than in-game.

How do I fix this?

Turn Vsync off?

The only two "things" I have noticed are...

When you intially load into battle, before the countdown starts, there is a massive lag/spike that only last around a second.

When in arty view, yes I play them, the aiming circle when moving using the scroll wheel is very notchy not smooth.

Apart from the above no issues.

Then it shouldn't be my hardware from 2008 or something...

It would be nice if there is a solution to this. Even if it isn't related to in game settings.

Turn Vsync off?

There's an option under the 'Graphics' tab for 'Vertical synchronization', as well as in the driver (usually the game controls on/off). It should be off (at least in your case). Also, make sure the game's actually running in full-screen mode (and not borderless windowed):

The overlay stuff shouldn't really matter if it was OK pre-1.0, but it's nevertheless a good idea to disable them if you have a rather old computer. Steam, Windows 10 and the graphics card software are usual culprits, or other 'game centres' like Origin and whatnot.

Nvidia: http://nvidia.custhe...in-game-overlay

Windows 10: https://www.howtogee...r-and-game-bar/

(Doesn't look like AMD cards have any similar features, but AMD isn't too common.)

Shouldn't be, but system specifications might be useful nevertheless if it's literally about that old.

40 FPS should be plenty, but what happens if you lower the graphics to minimum? Does it reduce the problem?

Also try disabling the sound, just for the sake of testing.

Eventhough this might be helpful in other aspects, it's kinda offtopic for the actual issue described in this topic. (edit: and might therefor be misleading)

This is not a graphics performance issue. The actual experience is a short delay (100-500 milliseconds) from performing a steering action to the actual movement of the tank. (Usually best experienced when turning your tank while it isn't moving).

If you wanna recreate this (Everyone I've talked to, that actually understand the issue, has experienced the same thing), just go to the training room, when the battle starts try pushing your A or D button in short intervals and see how long it takes before the tank actually steers left and right.

So, it's not just me. Even with ~100fps it feels like vsync input lag but vsync is off. I guess we need to adapt or it's problem in specific configurations.

Unless you know what OP's problem is, calling it misleading doesn't make sense. The mentioned stuff are things that have caused some form of 'input-like lag' for me in the past. Funny thing is, I don't experience the issue. If anything you are misleading here; implying that the problem is common and easily recreated. You don't seem to offer any explanation either.

There is something that causes it. Doesn't have to be the computer (alone), but any idiot would start with the obvious stuff first. Besides, turning off the stuff doesn't hurt a fly.

I've been getting an occasional input lag but it's not there most of the time - usually notice it on an "oh crap" pull back move.

Ive noticed it slightly, its especially noticeable on fast lights. Hopefully just a teething problem for the release.

Hmmm. I only played two matches, but this might be what felt so "weird" when driving around. I have some slight problems with preloading, so the game is quite laggy for the first few seconds, but I believe that this tiny input lag stays for the whole match...

I dont know i have huge problems with new patch.
1. Music lag. When loading the game music some times lagging, which is very annoying.
2. Game start before i could join the game.
3. Game also lags. Screene freezes.
For me its a downgrade. Older patch worked perfectly fine now it lags. Even the music. And why game start without me? Why music also lag?

Depends; VSyn really can result in input lag, and that seems to be exactly what OP is experiencing. So no, it's not 'kinda offtopic'. So please, don't post if you don't know what you're talking about.

Edit: To add, as I was toying around with higher refresh rate and VSync on/off for Windowed borderless I was experiencing the exact same issue. Personally I think it's related to Windowed borderless where WoT will use the Win OS refresh rate and may cause sync issues with the renderer.

Turn off enhanced physics and try then

Basically its badly optimized - every time you or someone run through fence rocks etc - fps go down by 10-20

I can easily run all on ultra but i wont use this (till they optimize it) since its very noticeable while fighting

100+ fps for me also. Most of the times 140 and above , but I can feel the dips to 100 and in special occasions even lower
