Well..... strange request. :amazed:

I give you my 3:

+

  • Enjoyable
  • Competitive and improve your awareness
  • Quick to learn, hard to master, gives it longevity

-

  • Time consuming because requires grinding
  • Money consuming if you want to save time
  • The developer company is not really transparent and honest with their customers (in more than an occasion).

Advantages:

  • It's fun and free.
  • It runs on potato computers.
  • It's easily accessible for all ages, but you can actually become good at it with some effort.

Disadvantages:

  • It can be extremely frustrating. You rely on teamwork that's not really there.
  • It's not really 'free'; though by all means playable.
  • Learning curve is steeper than the K2.
  • Game allows veteran players with 'sealclubber setups' to play against newbies.
  • Prices are the same all over EU; suitable for Western Europe but near-hopeless for Eastern Europe (use the 'Bic Mac index' to make your point; compare it to prices of e.g. a month of premium to the price of a BM in different countries).
  • There are multiple indicators (though not full-blown) of 'pay to win'-mechanics (this one's sure to earn you some points for discussing it).
  • Game developer has its own agenda; creating a game focused on selling the 'occasional awesome' experience for anyone.
  • Common player complaints go unadressed, including 'bugs'.
  • Player-staff interaction is poor, to the level where you might suspect internal structural issues. Game bugs being ignored extensively and/or declared as 'fixed' despite evidence of the opposite.

Excellent choice I bet when you finish writing you will realise that the deck is stacked against the disadvantages , just look at the post above , however the lure of the advantage is so strong people still play - that will make compelling reading - please post your paper here when you’re done - glhf

Great fun

Relief from stress

Challenging

-

Frustration at rampant stupidity of the rest of the human race

Exposure to entitled millennials

Complete and utter waste of time

Ofc people bombard him with answers right away instead of asking what he himself came up with so far.

Chances are high that OP isn't even allowed to play the game yet... :P

No blood or gore

Its better than watching EastEnders etc that wife is compelled to watch.

You can be as competitive or uncompetitive as you want, some would substitute competent though...

Some tend to cry a lot

Some get terribly annoyed

Some say they are quitting the game only to come back 10 minutes later

An opportunity for on-topic general whining, that's hard to resist.

Pros -

Free to play and can be fun

Competitive, This is a good thing for me as i enjoy beating the competition and being good at what i like

Unique, Not many games out there that are similar to this game, its sort of a one of a kind.

Cons -

Can get annoying, constant bad RNG etc, in the same way that it "can" be fun, that can turn around quite fast and lead to frustration, especially when you take it seriously like i do.

Developers dont seem to listen to their playerbase

Requires a prem account and prem tanks to actively play the higher tiers, which for me are the most fun

Hi, I'll give what I personally experienced:

+ Self-reflection. Which not everyone develops - but it's a useful skill if you want to get ahead.
+ Team play: Even when not in communication, you can still work as a team. Predicting and reacting to each other's movements automatically is useful.
+ Quick decision making: If you want to be good at this game (which I'm not) your decision making in the moment must be excellent. This game is good for learning balance between caution and enthusiasm.

- Many frustrated players: You do need a thick skin to be able to enjoy this game.
- Addiction: This game can swallow up a lot of time that  might be spent more usefully.
- Health: Sitting behind a computer in a completely wrong posture, munching crisps and drinking beer... well, yeah... self-explanatory.
