Just go to VBaddict, click on tank statistics and pick the stats you want to see compared to the others. This being the case you can look at all premium tier 8 meds and their net income per battle or any other statistic. The tier 7 you can look up individually.

http://www.vbaddict.net/statistics.php?tier=8&tanktype=2&nation=0&premium=0&modeid=0&team=0&battles=1000&groupby=0&fieldname=creditsn&server=

Check the T-34-85M while you are there.

T-44-100 is probably best.

Mutz is probably best you can get atm though.

Panther/M10 is not good for credit making or is it good to buy now (it is ocasioanlly on sale even in-game, 30% off).

It also has repair costs of a t8 premium, while the gun does not have good alpha, so it is a tad stressfull to play.

Panther 88 might be good, has great dpm, but .... you need to be a good player to make it work, and it will be painful for you.

FV4202, low alpha but good pen, dpm is not that great.

Good for going hulldown though.

Normally i would say the T-54 Mod 1, but the Mutz has better pen and against t9-10, which they both see, their armor is about the same, while the Mutz has better gun depression and mobility.

Both the Mutz and the T-54 mod 1, have the radio operator on the commander.

Which means vision won't be so great until you get to about 3 skills/perks.

PS: Of the ones you listed the T-44-100 is not ingame, so you have to wait for it to go on sale.

And i would not take any of them to replace my T25 Pilot 1 or M4A1 Revalorise .... well, maybe the Panther 88 but you really need to be a good player to make that tank work, and it's an interesting challenge (also, it has a separate radio operator which is very very good). :)

Plus, will the two Soviet mediums meet tier 9 or 10 opponents?

Your best bet is the Rev, as far as credit making goes, you can't beat the high alpha and good gun handling when it comes to dealing DMG (with the current MM).

Yes, but I almost always find myself in a scenario where I have to fight two opponents at once (as I am prone to getting overconfident) and I need as much armor as I can (that's why this tank is not in this poll, otherwise it would). And do you mean it gets preferential MM?

Both of them have standard MM, but again, the whole Pref MM is not that important.

Pref MM means you will meet lots of 5/10 teams with t9s and t8's.

Standard MM means you will meet at most 3 t10's in 3/5/7 format.

In both cases you have to sit back a little and use your allies as meatshields so not much changes.

The M4A1 revalorise does not have the speed or armor, or camo, to allow you to be overconfident, it is essentially a TD with a turret and the hull that is crappy at t5.

You want to stay as far away as possible from derps in it.

No it doesn't. It means that the few shots you'll pen in the Tier X matches you'll very often see, will amount to alot more damage than the same amount of shots taken by most other comparable tanks. And believe me, you won't be murdering Type 5/Maus/JPZ/268 4/E3/E4/etc... So, if credit making is your thing, then consider something with high pen and high alpha.... if it doesn't have to be Med you could also consider a TD.

I sold my CDC. Utter, utter crap. Massive engine power, but the soft stats kill it.

It was a long time ago, but still feel cheated on that purchase. Seems totally wrong that WG doesn't publish ACTUAL performance when flogging premium tanks.

Fighting two opponents at once is not a strong suit of any medium tank, but the T-54 Prototype (and to some extent the T-44-100) can do that. If it's top-tier. Most of the time it's not. Pretty decent tank anyway, but it's not particularly fast (quick to accelerate, low top speed).

You can't have it all, I think, hence why I mentioned the Panther/M10 earlier. It's rather forgiving, since it basically has T8 hitpoints. I find that a quite useful asset when cornered, and the thing has really good gun handling to boot.

Most of the T8 mediums you've mentioned are rather frustrating to play because they are doomed to second-line duty in most matches, and don't really hold up well against even their own tier.

Out of this list I'd say the T54 mod 1. It doesn't have good credit making stats (shell cost, alpha, penetration), but since the tank is so good after they buffed it, you will have better games. Not sure how the T44-100 stacks up to the T54 mod 1.

What are you talking about? The Mutz is paper while the T54 Mod 1 can almost double as a heavy tank. It has better frontal hull armor than an IS-3..

Had a decent game in the T-44-100 the other day, here's an idea of the credit making potential

Of all the ones i've played on my account and my friends accounts, i'd have to go with the T25 Pilot. I enjoyed that one the most, it has decent mobility, a good gun, an awesome view range and in my experience, pretty decent camo.

T-44-100.

Its literally flat out superior to the Mod 1 outside from the frontal hull armor. Whenever you get penned from front with Mod 1, you are basically playing an inferior T-44-100 - aka majority of the time with current tier 8 MM.

T-44-100 is also flat out superior to many tanks in that list aside from gun depression and/or AP pen. The tank is stupidly good now.
