How do keep a steady camera angle for clickers?

Is there a way to prevent the camera view angle from constantly tilting in arty mode? I'm going to lose my sanity if doesn't stop :angry:

the camera tilts when your aimpoint is at an uneven terrain. for that case it is better to resort to the top down view to see why it is going crazy

Any mods maybe to keep it at the same angle at all times?

Angle is dependant on the virtual shell trajectory. The camera is pointing from the shell path at altitude X to point of cursor as if shell was shot at perfect accuracy.

That's why shell view won't lock to tanks that are behind cover. When you move over the cover the view shows overshooting angle which is vastly different than the arc that would hit the tank if obstacle was not there.

 

When the view is danching the shot is unlikely to hit. If you need to do difficult shot find a location in terrain where you can keep the aim instead of trying to follow tank outlines. If you have aim on terrain and tank drives to cover that location your shell arc does not change because you are still aiming the same arc!

There used to be a mod that offered the altered view functionality. That mod worked perfectly. WG decided to implement it in the game and they messed it up. I never use it, the way the camera works makes me cringe.
