Wargaming should optimize wot 1.0 for AMD cards, they get a lot less performance than nvidia cards...

Maybe that's because they are a lot less powerful than Nvidia cards..

Currently running RX 470 with 18.2.1 driver and game runs as smooth as usual. I'm running my game with vsync due to screen tearing and fps doesn't drop below 60 on max settings without blur.

My Rx 480 Nitro+ 8GiB Edition is doing fine though.

I've actually seen fps spikes (160fps) higher than I was getting in 9.22 (120fps), and that's with all  settings on max.

perhaps GPU performance is measured against WR?

sry couldn't help it OP. I asume you've tried both AMD and Nvidia and have some sort of comparison?

My AMD 290 is still going well, bit noisy at times, but graphics are on ultra, 68-70 fps.

Maybe you're using an integrated GPU...which are shite no matter  who makes them.

Fury X

No problems for me either

Steady 60fps @ 4k (3840x2160)   (Asus PB287Q monitor only have 60Mhz to play with )

With AMD drivers - the newest / latest is not necessarily the bestest one for your card.

oh and btw  ( the suck egg moment, sorry ) always clean install drivers. and never install the "crap-ware" often attached.

Also as has been (phrased so succinctly by Ramraid90)  . if its an onboard chip then ......

Good luck anyhoo

Ochso

AMD has a thing called "Enhanced Sync" which supposedly does the same as nVidia's FastSync.

It is very good for games like WoT 1.0, if you can keep FPS above 60Hz and you have a 60Hz monitor.

At least FastSync works very well.

I actually rolled my AMD drivers back to version 16.11.5 after WoT 1.0 was released after a shedload of issues, all now running absolutely fine 99% of the time.

I guess I'll try it out, it might actually work out better than vsync.
