Let's take a look at some of the statistics of the season.

Not sure how we managed to finish as Veterans at Tier 10, but we did and the two camos are nice.

 

It would be nice if the Ratings table also showed how much gold each clan won.  I suspect it's not on there because it would show how little most of the clans get.

Were you aware of the fact that you need to play the game in order to be eligible for the gold rewards?

Hope so the more players, the better

I also see that your current clan is quite active when it comes to random battles, so i'm sure people want to spare 15 minutes for a cw battle.

Well from what I can tell is the following:

SO WG tried to reduce the gold income from CWs at some point (last year I guess). Who would have thought, but that did not end the way it was supposed to end. People were complaining, most likely there was a noticable drop in activity.

 

Now they moved on to another strategy. Instead of halfing the gold income from the global map they decided to half the time this gold can be earned: Players wont complain nearly as much, while less gold is given out for free.

 

In that light expect a break for roughly 6 weeks or 1.5 month, or with other words: A break for the same timeframe the last season was running.

We finished as Veterans for both Tier 10 and Tier 8 so everyone got 2 camos .... which is also where NOOT and CRY-X finished so ...

What I asked for is transparency.  If/When people complain about the gold they received (or didn't), I'd like to be able to judge whether it's a legitimate complaint, just moaning or just greed and over entitlement.

H5 won the most gold we've ever won (roughly double the previous season) but from a gold PoV it's not worth it.

It addition to seeing how much gold each clan won, I think it would also be good to see how many days a clan participated and how many battles they fought, how many lands they won, how many days they held land, how many times they lost the land they held, how many players fought (5+) battles, etc.

For someone who likes stats, they would all be interesting.

No, more people would be attracted by more gold for all clans.

You have a funny way to classify the clans:

1. good ones

2. 'majority' ones

......

 

Or by 'majority' you mean the bad clans with tomato players? Why should those who perform worst get more than those who are good???? 

 

On topic: Why there are so many breaks? CW is running lately just half of the time.... I like how WG talks about more end game content but they stop CW a lot.

Quite clever indeed. But otherwise ridiculous!

 

What's the point of Clans in the first place if we don't get to have a competitive mode for them more times than we do?

I mean its just guessing but to be honest what other reason is there? I cannot come up with any other.

But maybe some WG employee will join in and tell us the reason. That would be refreshing for a change.

I do remember a season where you had to spam landings to get golds so the "majority" can have his "share" without having to hold provinces on Global Map. Why did they removed it ? Because big clans cried or because it was one of the *edited* CW season ? Don't bother answering, I think I already know your answer :]

Competativness of this game never was priority, neither will be, sadly.... Anyway enjoy 2 months break, for clans that couldn't earn enough gold for premium days, prepare your bucks wierd how that works right?

Got to agree with FAME on this one, if you want gold then come and get it. But really, you're not good enough and just want your participation medal like the fat kid on school sports day. Everyone has the same opportunity to capture whatever province they want but instead they'd rather complain on the forums.
