i played a lot of games this month and i came to this conclusion, spotting mechanics are not working correctly, i appeal to more players that  are having the same issues to write in this post

In what way are they not working correctly?

If anything I find the spotting mechanics work too well, pixel of aerial showing over the top of the ridge... spotted, game could do with point of view spotting not 360.

Last time we had a topic like this where one wrote more or less what you did. It tuned out that he did not get half of the main points about the spotting mechanics... like the fact you can't spot with only your rear end sticking out. Or the fact that tree tops block LOS.

So provide a replay proving your points. I suspect some of them might be explained still.

I'd welcome a simple explanation, let alone a replay. But what should we expect FROM A TITLE WHICH LOOKS LIKE THIS?

not sure if this is what the OP is referring to but since the update certain bushes offer no camo value and are basically see through. The ones i know of are on the hill on Prok, and overlooking the cap point on Abbey.

This has always been in the game. Different bushes provide vrious different levelsof camo. Which is why, if in doubt double up.

maybe i should elaborate a little, i died on Prok with the hill to the left, i was near the centre cap circle. I went for a pee, came back to see they had 3 tanks left, we had 1. Our tank was on the exact opposite side to the hill so no way could he spot it and yet even though i was dead, i saw an enemy tank appear on the hill behind bushes then disappear as he went behind the next set. The next i knew of him was when i heard him drive past me invisible. No way should i have seen him for even a fraction of a second, heard yes, seen no.

There are currently loads of little niggles/issues with maps since the update, ranging from too big hit boxes, no hit boxes at all, camo issues etc .

Fisherman's Bay from the north spawn:

Fisherman's Bay from the south spawn:

Pretty sure I spotted most of the enemies and quite often when I actually paid attention to my own positioning they didn't spot me. As far as I'm concerned spotting is working as intended. (Being top tier and having a good crew helps a lot too.)

There is however this theory that if you use too much CAPS in chat, you're spotted much more easily. Never leave your CAPS LOCK on.

Thing is that on that map... there is 4x more vegetation vs before. So way more stuff breaking LOS etc. And just because you spot them in the open, never indicated they would insta spot you behind a bush 300m away.

Hmm no replay yet, or even a sliver of an explanation as to what is not working correctly. Quelle surprise...
