Consumable slots from Frontline mode would be an interesting way to buff lights, basically give them special skills like smoke, buff aura, airstrike (maybe), spotter plane etc.

Kind of like the special consumables from WOWs

tbh id just give lights the ability to reduce bush camo (for spotting purposes) by 50%, done. And then give wheeled vehicles "ignore bush camo" ability (then they would still be useful even with 310 VR... would get outspotted by everything in the open, but would still outspot everything in magic forests/bushes). Or whatever the numbers would have to be to make it balanced.

That would make passive spotting (and tanks like the ELC EVEN90) completely obsolete, there are already very few locations where this is still viable so it would be a shame if it went.

I do however like your idea, it would certainly help against those dumb SWE TD's hiding everywhere outspotting light tanks. Maybe this ability should work against every class *BUT* light tanks, so passive spotting light tanks retain their bush camo.

Cobra 6

Yes, sure, alternatively WG could simply change bush/camo mechanics and introduce 3rd camo factor that determines how much benefit a tank gets from bushes.

Say, e100/jpe100/taip5, etc would only get 5% camo from a thick bush rather than 40% or whatever it gives now, grille despite having crapcamo would maybe get full 40%, becauce otherwise it would be utterly useless (or wg could simply give the tank camo in line with the rest of the line and buff it properly...), strv might get only 5% from a bush, but to balance it out its camo after shooting could go up by 5%... etc.

Or make it so that each class gets flat % camo from bushes (% portion of what all tanks get now)... lights 100%, meds 60%, tds 40%, heavies 20%, ebolas 5% (:D). But that wouldnt be quite ideal, as it would royally [edited]some tanks that are so bad that camo from bushes is the only thing that actually makes them somewhat playable (like grille).
