Hi guys, I do not know if anyone ever noticed the Trophy since Friday 23.03.18 runs, can not quite go with right things.

This is the link to the trophy table

https://wotonereward...m_campaign=news
So now look at the first 3 players
1.IOpo4ka 3650 brands in 7 days

https://de.wot-life....po4ka-545003484

3996 games in 7 days very logical

2.SonyEron 3506 brands in 7 days

https://de.wot-life....yEron-532690126

3460 games clear in 7 days

3. ___swiety___ 3364 brands in 7 days

https://de.wot-life.com/eu/player/___swiety___/

3776 games in 7 days

only the three of them would have made about 500 brands a day or 400-500 games a day
which represents 27-28 games per hour.
My thoughts so

1. How cool do you have to be on the laptop to cheat?
2. How to do so many battles, 24/7 online or will a bot be used for one
     continues?
3. Do the gamers think it does not attract attention?
4. Is something done or checked to see if it all came about without fraud?

5. Is there a gap (legal / illegal?) That makes it easy to get at the brands.
I mean, I can imagine how to do that by starting the match in
The opponent cap reinfährt and then dies directly, so you could still so much experience
Generating that you are always in the top 10, winning or losing is in the challenge yes, no matter to get to the brands.
Apart from the fact that the WN8 falls directly into the bottomless accounts.
What are your thoughts when you see this?

Greetings Christian

Well WG messed up by not putting any tier restrictions/other requirements in on this. Then again if they did you'd have these desperate apes yoloing in high tier tanks. The worst part is is all these top players spam low tier yolo, die and repeat to get stamps fast. That means they are getting rewards for banging their head against a brick wall rather than getting the reward for achieving something in game.

I was very tempted to make a re roll to charge and get stamps but then I realised it would require half the effort to just work extra and buy the laptop with my own money. Stupid competition, stupid requirements but hey. WG is giving something away and if people are willing to go through that much pain for it then why not. Even if they do account share and stuff. Just let it be.

Not forgetting that WG are judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to deciding if anyone broke any rules so all that "hard work" could be wiped out with no opportunity to appeal.

Don't know about the fraud element, there is certainly lots of salt from people struggling to compete though.

Now that would be a shame if WG did decide that some had been cheating..... Not:)

I thought I was doing well to get 150 or so....

They should not have announced this, just say there will be a special prize at the end, don't announce requirements but just say: "Play as you would normally do" and then after the event pull the numbers form the server.

That way you prevent people from yolo-suicide rushing like this to rack up games.

Or you could dangle a nice piece of cheese and draw out all the rats so you can whack 'em with the ban hammer.

Which is understandable. If people who actually have a life have absolutely ZERO chance to compete, your event sucks.

Perhaps something like win 25 games without capping, scoring more dmg than your vehicle xp and you're entered into a random draw would be fairer and more sensible?

Can't yolo on that, nor win by capping every game nor put the competition outside the reach of everyone but hardcore skilled players.

Yes original flawed, but I suspect the two main aims of the competition was to firstly attract dormant players back and make a competition open to all skill levels (rather than the purely dmg dealt type ones).

edit: added "purely" as of course my suggestion is around a dmg competion, but not solely largest dmg dealt.

WG is more likely to give them a laptop than to actually ban them. Despite them suicide rushing every game they still provide a valuable commodity: Player Activity to fill up the matches for the real players *AND* they add to the glorious PR numbers of "XX million players worldwide".

That would have been confusing af.

What you say is like going to a new job and in the first day you ask what you have to do, and the boss tells you: ''Just do what you do usually''

I do a lot of things usually...

In my opinion best course of action would have been to limit the timeframe in which stamps are counted towards the competition to 8-16 hours/day.

I'm sure it's no coincidence that every season of ranked has had a banwave half way through.

I didn't read the rules for this.

But since neither yolo rushing/suiciding/padding RR at low tiers nor sharing account is a bannable offense, I don't see how WG could ban them.

Only bot-usage is.

If the stakes are high, people do weird stuff to win. Especially because a 2k-3k laptop is a few months of working in some countries.

Tbh, we should have expected something like this. Since it would be naïeve (?) to think that some casual play style and player would be enough to win this event.

There would always be a reason to complain btw. If top 3 or top 5 was the requirement, the event would be "only for the unicum elite". If the event took place in a certain time window each day the same shjt would occur and people with night shifts "would be discriminated reeee". If WG didn't announce the prices in advance, the interest would be lower and WG wouldn't be abled to flaunt activity numbers.

This competetion is like having an obj430(u), 268.4 or 907 on the enemy team. You are part of the same game, but it iant a fair and real competition. So less fcks are given in case of losing, the game was fake anyway.

It would be funny to see the numbers 2,3, 4 and so on invest such a massive amount of time in grindig those stamps, to get rewarded with a cpu worth a few 100 bucks. So they still need to buy all other pc parts, or just have a bit of cash after all those hours :D

You are not the winner.

I am not good enough to win big prizes but this event has given me 2 mlllion credits and loads of XP so far. Also I am learning the new maps fast which is why this event was introduced.
